    The work aims at elaborating an investigative methodology which can highlight the transformation of territorial structures and the social-economic dynamics that influence management of the territory and landscape in order to provide operative instructions for an integrated elaboration of instruments for urban planning and economic programming. The investigation has taken into consideration, using GIS instrument, the evolution of the landscape, of the road network, of the settlements and of the socio-economic system in the period that goes from the early decades of the 19th century to the present period.     Determinants of farm diversification and interaction with the CAP. An application to FADN of Marche region (Italy)

    This work analyzes farm diversification activities in an Italian region (Marche). The study examines 387 farms from Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) over a six-year period (2000-2005), applying Discrete Choice Models to identify their business. Recognizing the driving forces of such diversification strategy can be useful to better design those agricultural policies explicitly aimed at promoting agricultural multifunctionality as well as social and environmental sustainability.     Spin transfer nano-oscillators

    The use of spin transfer nano-oscillators (STNOs) to generate microwave signal in nanoscale devices have aroused tremendous and continuous research interest in recent years. Their key features are frequency tunability, nanoscale size, broad working temperature, and easy integration with standard silicon technology. In this feature article, we give an overview of recent developments and breakthroughs in the materials, geometry design and properties of STNOs. We focus in more depth on our latest advances in STNOs with perpendicular anisotropy showing a way to improve the output power of STNO towards the {\mu}W range.     La ciudadanía en los cuadernos de clase

    La investigación pretende focalizar en la formación del ciudadano, dando cuenta de los procesos que efectivamente tienen lugar en la enseñanza, y cuyas dimensiones trascienden lo delimitado por la regulación normativa o por algunas orientaciones recientes derivadas de ciertas teorías o corrientes pedagógicas, psicológicas o didácticas. En relación con la comprensión de estas prácticas, el proyecto apunta a investigar cómo los docentes leen el currículo social.
