Phosphormorphosis

The artwork I create facilitates my artistic direction and has developed from childhood memories to current adulthood experiences of viewing how light can change the form of many things including organic forms. My extensive research and technical experimentations with the different color value manipulation of acrylic and oil based paints to accommodate the phosphorescent paint has brought me to create a new technique in painting which I titled “Phosphormorphosis”. Phosphormorphosis is to change the form of a two-dimensional image or three-dimensional surface by manipulating the color value of wet or dry media and adding phosphorescent paint to distort the image and reveal a form changing illusion in the dark. Through my paintings and three-dimensional artwork I express the subject of my relationships with family, friends, and acquaintances. Many artists such as Tom Bacher, Beverly Doolittle, Bill Scheck, Claude Monet, and Edgar Degas influence my artwork with their ideas of technique or subject matter

A study of the Mg II 2796.34 A emission line in late--type normal, and RS CVn stars

We carry out an analysis of the Mg II 2796.34 A emission line in RS CVn stars and make a comparison with the normal stars studied in a previous paper (Paper I). The sample of RS CVn stars consists of 34 objects with known HIPPARCOS parallaxes and observed at high resolution with IUE. We confirm that RS CVn stars tend to possess wider Mg II lines than normal stars having the same absolute visual magnitude. However, we could not find any correlation between the logarithmic line width log Wo and the absolute visual magnitude Mv (the Wilson--Bappu relationship) for these active stars, contrary to the case of normal stars addressed in Paper I. On the contrary, we find that a strong correlation exists in the (Mv, log L) plane (L is the absolute flux in the line). In this plane, normal and RS CVn stars are distributed along two nearly parallel straight lines with RS CVn stars being systematically brighter by about 1 dex. Such a diagram provides an interesting tool to discriminate active from normal stars. We finally analyse the distribution of RS CVn and of normal stars in the (log L, log Wo) plane, and find a strong linear correlation for normal stars, which can be used for distance determinations.Comment: 10 pages, 7 figures, latex, to be published in A&

Programa FESDO para mejorar la satisfacción laboral de docentes del CEBA Nº 80824 José Carlos Mariátegui del distrito El Porvenir, Trujillo – 2020

El presente estudio buscó determinar el efecto de la implementación de un programa en satisfacción docente (FESDO) en la satisfacción de los docentes de un Centro de Educación Básica Alternativa para adolescentes, jóvenes y adultos. Empleándose para ello un diseño de investigación preexperimental de un solo grupo con pre y postest, usando como instrumento de medición una escala de satisfacción laboral, aplicada a la totalidad de los docentes (11), para medir factores intrínsecos con sus dimensiones motivación y autorrealización, y factores extrínsecos con sus dimensiones condiciones laborales y socio organizativas. El programa FESDO se realizó considerando los resultados del pretest en los aspectos de las dimensiones con menor puntaje. Como resultado de la investigación se determinó que el programa FESDO implementado al 79% tuvo un efecto positivo y significativo en la satisfacción laboral y sus cuatro dimensiones, probada con la prueba estadística de Wilcoxon, con 95% de confianza; elevando sus niveles de satisfacción excelente y bueno a 19% y 9% respectivamente; estableciéndose además que las dimensiones condiciones laborales y socio organizativas generaron un menor nivel de satisfacción. Los resultados son relevantes pues un docente satisfecho es más productivo repercutiendo positivamente en el aprendizaje de sus estudiantes y en un clima laboral saludable.The present study sought to determine the effect of the implementation of a teacher satisfaction program (FESDO) on the satisfaction of the teachers of an Alternative Basic Education Center for adults. Using a pre-experimental research design of a single group with pre and post test; using as a measuring instrument a Job Satisfaction scale, applied to all teachers (11), which measures factors intrinsic with their motivation and self-realization dimensions, and extrinsic factors with their dimensions, working conditions and socio-organizational. The FESDO program was carried out considering the pre-test results in the aspects of the dimensions with the lowest score. As a result of the research, it was determined that the FESDO program implemented at 79% had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and its four dimensions, tested with the Wilcoxon statistical test, with 95% confidence; raising their excellent and good satisfaction levels by 19% and 9% respectively; It was also established that the dimensions of labor conditions and socio-organizational generated a lower level of satisfaction. The results are relevant because a satisfied teacher is more productive, having a positive impact on the learning of their students and in a healthy work environment.Tesi

El entorno virtual de aprendizaje y la actitud científica en estudiantes de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Nacional Amazónica de Madre de Dios semestre 2020-II

La presente investigación tuvo como propósito de, determinar el nivel de relación que existe entre el uso del entorno virtual de aprendizaje y la actitud científica, en los estudiantes de la Facultad de Educación de la universidad nacional Amazónica de Madre de Dios, en el semestre 2020-II. Este trabajo investigativo, corresponde al tipo de investigación teórica o sustantiva, de nivel descriptivo, con diseño correlacional transversal, se trabajó la investigación a nivel de campo con una población de 510 estudiantes, del cual se ha determinado una muestra de 76 estudiantes aplicando la técnica de muestreo no probabilístico, es decir por conveniencia de la investigadora, así mismo se ha recogido los datos de las dos variables de estudio, con cuestionarios validados por otros investigadores y contextualizados a la realidad del estudio. Producto del desarrollo de la investigación, se ha demostrado que existe relación directa moderada entre el uso del entorno virtual de aprendizaje y la actitud científica, en los estudiantes de la Facultad de Educación de la universidad nacional Amazónica de Madre de Dios, en el semestre 2020-II, esto en base al valor de Rho 0,692, y el p valor ,052 a un nivel de probabilidad de ocurrencia del 95%
