Different critical points of chiral and deconfinement phase transitions in (2+1)-dimensional fermion-gauge interacting model

Based on the truncated Dyson-Schwinger equations for fermion and massive boson propagators in QED3_3, the fermion chiral condensate and the mass singularities of the fermion propagator via the Schwinger function are investigated. It is shown that the critical point of chiral phase transition is apparently different from that of deconfinement phase transition and in Nambu phase the fermion is confined only for small gauge boson mass.Comment: 5 Pages and 3 figure

Has the Restructuring of Chinese Central Stated-Owned Enterprises Achieved the Goal of International Expansion?

Using the difference-in-differences method, we examine the internationalization effects of the restructuring of Chinese Central State-owned Enterprises (CCSOEs) during the years 2003 and 2016. We find that restructured CCSOEs have not achieved a higher degree of internationalization. Indeed, the higher the degree of internationalization after the CCSOE restructuring, the worse the firm’s performance. Overall, the results suggest that the Chinese government’s attempt to promote CCSOE internationalization through restructuring has not achieved its goal. Rather than governmental support and intervention, accelerating market-oriented reforms, weakening or eliminating administrative monopolies in the domestic market, and reducing the monopoly profits of CCSOEs in the domestic market could be more effective approaches to promote CCSOE internationalization

BER performance of MIMO system employing fast antenna selection scheme under imperfect channel state information

In this paper, a closed-form expression for Bit Error rate (BER) of a Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) system employing the Minimum Mean Square Error MMSE channel estimation method is derived. The numerical results show that when the Channel State Information (CSI) is free of estimation errors BER decreases when the number of receive antennas increases. However under imperfect CSI, BER is getting worse when the number of Rx antennas is increased. In order to improve BER, a fast antenna selection scheme is proposed. The obtained numerical results prove that the proposed antenna selection scheme indeed improves the MIMO system BER performance. ©2010 IEEE
