    Survival Analysis in Patients with Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) Using Cox Proportional Hazard Regression

    Indonesia is a tropical country that has two seasons: the rainy season and dry season. In the rainy season frequent flooding or puddles of water that could become mosquito breeding and the spread of various diseases, one of which is the dengue fever. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is the cause of public health problems with a very rapid deployment and can lead to death within a short time. This causes dengue become one of the attractions to be investigated further. This study discusses the survival analysis and the factors that affect the healing rate of dengue patients using Cox proportional hazard regression based on data from the medical records of hospitalized dengue patients at the Jember Klinik Hospital. The results showed that the factors of age, gender, hemoglobin, trombonist, and hematocrit affect the healing rate of DHF patients

    Analisis Hubungan antara Financial Distress dan Keputusan Kebijakan Dividen Omisi Perusahaan Manufaktur

    Financial distress adalah kondisi dimana Perusahaan mengalami kerugian atau kehilangan, namun belum sampai dikatakan bangkrut. Kondisi yang paling mudah dilihat dari Perusahaan yang mengalami financial distress adalah dari keputusan dividen omisi Perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari rasio keuangan seperti likuiditas, leverage, profitabilitas, free cash flow, dan size terhadap durasi waktu antara Perusahaan mengalami financial distress dan kemunculan dividen omisi dengan model Cox extended yang diinteraksikan dengan fungsi waktu dan dungsi Heaviside dan untuk mengetahui keberlangsungan Perusahaan untuk membagikan dividen. Pada penelitian ini data yang digunakan adalah data rasio keuangan Perusahaan manufaktur periode 2016 yang terdaftar di BEI yang telah membagikan dividen selama minimal tiga tahun berturut-turut. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan mendeskripsikan karakteristik setiap variabel, estimasi fungsi survival menggunakan plot Kaplan-Meier, uji perbedaan kurva survival dengan uji Log-Rank, pembentukan model Cox extended dengan fungsi waktu dan fungsi heaviside dan dipilih model terbaik dengan melihat nilai AIC. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah diperoleh model terbaik Cox extended dengan fungsi heaviside. Variabel yang signifikan adalah profitabilitas (Return on Asset), dan Perusahaan yang memiliki profitabilitas yang lebih besar dari 5,98% memiliki risiko mengalami omitted dividend 21% kali lebih kecil daripada Perusahaan dengan profitabilitas renda

    The Effect of Hemodialysis on Kinetic Segment of Left Ventricular in Stage V Chronic Kidney Diseases Patients

    Chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage V attacks other organs such as heart that can cause cardiovascular disease (CVD). One of them is CVD caused by CKD stage V that is the kinetic segment of left ventricle. Cardiovascular disease occurs due to excess fluid and buildup of uremic toxin. Chronic kidney disease stage V can not be cured so it requires therapy that is hemodialysis (HD). Hemodialysis can reduce excess fluid, uremic toxin, and maintain electrolyte balance in stage V stage. Improved fluid and decreased uremic toxin can reduce the burden of the heart and strain so that blood supply to certain myocardial areas increases and the left ventricular kinetic segment increases. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of HD on left ventricular kinetic changes in CKD stage V patients in dr. Soebandi hospital in Jember. The research design used was quasi-experimental one group pretest-postest design. The sample was 30 patients. Respondents were determined by nonprobability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis using Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the study, the distribution of the sample based on the age of the most in the range of 45-54 years, based on the sex obtained more women, based on the duration of hemodialysis obtained the period of most hemodialysis> 24 months and based on blood pressure before and after hemodialysis obtained patients with hypertension. Hypothesis test using Wilcoxon test got p-value (0.000). From the results of the analysis can be concluded that there is influence of hemodialysis on kinetic segment of left ventricle in patient of CKD stage V in dr. Soebandi hospital in Jember.  &nbsp
