Aim of this research is to determine the effect of Teaching With Analogy (TWA) model to remediate student mistakes in resolving direct-current electrical circuit problems. The research was pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. 36 students in a class as a sample was choosen by intact group over 4 classes at first grade in senior high school. The result show that student mistake in resolving direct current electrical circuit problems after using TWA model reduced by 29%. This research also discover that TWA model has effect to reduce student mistakes to resolve direct-current electrical circuit problems (z = 9,06; p< 0,05). Hopefully, this research can be a reference to remediate student mistakes in reduce direct-current electrical circuit

Location aware sensor routing (LASeR) protocol for mobile wireless sensor networks

Location aware sensor routing (LASeR) protocol is a novel solution to the challenges of routing in mobile wireless sensor networks (MWSNs). It addresses the high reliability and low latency requirements of emerging applications. The protocol uses location information to maintain a gradient field even in highly mobile environments, whilst reducing the routing overhead. This allows the protocol to utilise a blind forwarding technique to propagate packets towards the sink. The protocol inherently utilises multiple paths simultaneously to create route diversity and increase its robustness. LASeR is designed for use in a high variety of MWSN applications with autonomous land, sea or air vehicles. Analytical expressions are derived and evaluated against the simulations. Extensive modelling and simulation of the proposed routing protocol has shown it to be highly adaptable and robust. It is compared with the recent MWSN proactive highly ambulatory sensor routing protocol, the high performance mobility adaptive cross-layer routing protocol, as well as ad-hoc on-demand distance vector and optimised link state routing. Protocols are evaluated on packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay, overhead, throughput and energy consumption. The results highlight both the high performance of LASeR in various challenging environments and its superiority over the state-of-the-art

Urolithiasis is a well-known problem that stones could form in various parts of the urinary system and it is the most common disease of the urinary tract. The current study was planned to investigate the effect of radish juice on ethylene glycol (EG)-induced urolithiasis. Twenty-one rats randomly divided into three groups. The first group was the control group was received normal standard diet and drinking water and the second group represented the model group received 0.75% EG in drinking water ad libitum. The third group received radish juice (2 ml/kg of body weight) by gavage plus EG (0.75%) in drinking water ad libitum. The experiment was conducted for 28 days. The light microscope examination revealed a disturbed histological architecture of the kidney tissues, including dilated renal tubules, aggregation of infiltrated leukocytes inflammatory cells, and crystal deposition in the model group. The EG plus radish juice treated rats showed higher crystal density with improved renal tubule structure and alleviated inflammation. Both treated groups showed various biochemical alterations compared to control group, but the most interest biochemical result was the significant decrease of malondialdehyde, a lipid peroxidation marker, and in the radish plus EG group compared to the EG group. Scanning electron microscopy showed clear structural detail about calcium oxalate crystals in which radish-treated group showed higher crystal deposition and calcified tissue compared to EG group. The present study concluded that radish juice promotes stone deposition but exerted an antioxidant effect
