    Proton conductivity of simple ionic hydroxides

    Two distinctly different proton conductivity mechanisms can be formulated for the simple ionic hydroxides using the optically derived proton lattice potential and the fact that a proton conduction band exists above the series of discrete energy levels which are due to the higher states of the O—H stretching mode. One mechanism is p-type and relies upon excess protons thermally excited to the lower edge of the proton conduction band. The other is n-type and involves defect proton mobility on some of the discrete intermediate energy levels.The protonic band gap appears to be a characteristic value for each hydroxide related to acidity

    Schwingungsueberwachung von Maschinen zur Schadenfrueherkennung im Steinkohlenbergbau

    In the implemented project, important questions on the early recognition of damage by vibration analysis on machines in hard coal mining were worked on and the equipment necessary for this was developed and tested. The emitted body noise which is influenced by the working state of the sample equipment was measured, recorded and analysed from the aspect of the early recognition of damage to machines. The errors due to the course of amplitude of the measurement sensors and due to connecting the sensor to the object of measurement were also the subject of the investigations carried out, as was the effect of the limits due to the process of the algorithms used on the ability of a monitoring strategy to provide information. (orig.)In dem durchgefuehrten Vorhaben wurden wesentliche Fragen zur Schadensfrueherkennung durch Schwingungsanalyse an Maschinen im Steinkohlenbergbau bearbeitet und die hierfuer notwendigen Geraete entwickelt und erprobt. Der emittierte Koerperschall, der vom Betriebszustand des bemusterten Betriebsmittels beeinflusst wird, wurde gemessen, aufgezeichnet und unter dem Aspekt der Frueherkennung von Maschinenschaeden analysiert. Die Fehlereinfluesse durch den Amplitudengang der Messsensoren und durch die Sensorankopplung an das Messobjekt waren ebenso Gegenstand der durchgefuehrten Untersuchungen wie der Einfluss der verfahrensbedingten Grenzen der erwendeten Algorithmen auf die Aussagefaehigkeit einer Ueberwachungsstrategie.
