    Bentuk tubuh yang ideal merupakan dambaan semua orang, baik pria maupun wanita khususnya kaum remaja.Fase remaja merupakan fase dimana individu mengalami Perubahan pada proporsi dan bentuk tubuh.Akibat Perubahan yang dialami, banyak remaja yang tidak percaya diri dengan penampilannya.Pada masa sekarang, cara untuk mencapai citra tubuh agar dapat sesuai dengan keinginan dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, baik itu berolahraga, melakukan diet, sampai dengan melakukan cara yang ekstrim seperti operasi plastik. Hal ini terkait dengan citra tubuh.Citra tubuh adalah sikap yang dimiliki individu terhadap tubuhnya. Salah satu cara yang dapat mengurangi rasa ketidakpuasan terhadap bentuk tubuh adalah dengan meningkatkan emosi positif melalui gratitude. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji secara empirik adanya hubungan antara gratitude dengan citra tubuh pada remaja.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 80 responden, yakni remaja laki-laki dan perempuan di Depok dengan usia 15-21 tahun. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan uji korelasi Product Moment Pearson yang digunakan untuk menguji hubungan gratitude dan citra tubuh.Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara gratitude dengan citra tubuh pada remaja, artinya semakin tinggi gratitude responden, maka citra tubuh yang dimiliki semakin positif

    The Use of “Identity Parade” Game as a Strategy to Improve Students' Speaking Skill in Describing People at Second Grade Students of Smpi Hasanuddin DAU Malang

    Speaking is the most fundamental  skill  in learning language. Unfortunately the researcher found the students' speaking problem when she conducted preliminary study in SMP Hasanuddin. Therefore, the researcher decided to solve the problem by conducting Classroom Action Research (CAR) using “Identity Parade” game technique. It consists of four steps in 2 cycles, there are: planning of the action, implementing, observing, and reflecting of the action. The subject of this research were 17 students at eighth grade (VIIIB) . The instruments of this research were speaking test, observation check-list and questionnaire. The result of the the speaking test in this study described as; the students who passed the standard score in the preliminary study improved from 43.75% to 71.43% at the cycle 1 and 86.67% at the end of cycle 2. This case shows that there are significant improvement in students' speaking skill and the learning process was stopped, because the score had met the minimum passing grade which is 75 %. Therefore, “Identity Parade” game had been proved that it could be one of teaching technique to improve the eighth graders' speaking skill in describing people at SMPI Hasanuddin Dau Malang

    Pengaruh Motivasi Pembelian Dan Harga Diri Terhadap Perilaku Pembelian Kompulsif Produk Fashion (Surveipadakonsumenfashion Malang Town Square Di Kota Malang)

    This study is to determine: partially significant influence of motivation Purchase on compulsive buying behavior; partially significant influence of self-esteem on compulsive buying, and together significant influence of motivation purchase and self-esteem on Compulsive Buying. Type of this research is used explanatory research. The sample in this research are 116 respondents who are fashion consumers of Malang Town Square (MATOS) in Malang City. Technique sampling using purposive technique sampling.Methods of collection data by spreading questionnaires. Analysis data is analysis descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: there was partial significant influence of purchasing motivation (X1) on compulsive buying behavior (Y) with coefficient regression (b) is 0.285 and t significance value is 0.000 < α (0,05); (2) there is partial significant influence of self-esteem (X2) on compulsive buying behavior (Y) with coefficient regression (b) is 0,170 and t significance value is 0,002 <α (0,05); (3) there is a simultant significant influence of purchasing motivation (X1) and self esteem (X2) on compulsive buying behavior (Y) with F significance value 0,000 <α (0,05)
