Plantation Mythology: Black Women in Academia

This article presents the process and findings of a study to establish the relativity of plantation mythology to the institution of higher learning. The method employed is a comparative personal history of a twenty-year period using an expert panel approach. A ten person expert panel of women of color was identified to generate a depiction of the conterminous experiences on the plantation.
