In the thesis we inspect interaction of low-temperature plasma with a solid substrate immersed into the plasma. Low-temperature plasmas are widely used in many plasmachemical technologies, so the understanding of physical and chemical mechanisms taking part during interactions of plasma with substrates is very important. Another area, where interaction of plasma with solid matter is studied, is probe diagnostics. In probe diagnostics there are considered different geometrical shapes and so it is necessary to develop multidimensional models. The models presented in this work simulate processes in the region between undisturbed plasma and a probe immersed into the plasma. The transport of charged particles through this region is investigated by a combination of molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo methods. The models are self-consistent, the distribution of electric field is obtained from the distribution of charged particles. The calculation of forces and electric field is the most time-consuming part of the simulation, so the main effort was spent on study and implementation of fast algorithms of force calculation. The thesis describes several algorithms that are used for efficient calculation of all mutual interactions in an N-body system. The implemented 1D and 3D models are described, the shape of the work area of the simulation and boundary conditions. The programmatic implementation is briefly described and the results obtained from the simulations are summarized.Available from STL Prague, CZ / NTK - National Technical LibrarySIGLECZCzech Republi
