Online Estimation of Battery Lifetime for Wireless Sensors Network
Battery is a major hardware component of wireless sensor networks. Most of
them have no power supply and are generally deployed for a long time.
Researches have been done on battery physical model and their adaptation for
sensors. We present an implementation on a real sensor operating system and how
architectural constraints have been assumed. Experiments have been made in
order to test the impact of some parameter, as the application throughput, on
the battery lifetime
jYang : A YANG parser in java
The NETCONF configuration protocol of the IETF Network Work- ing Group
provides mechanisms to manipulate the configuration of network devices. YANG is
the language currently under consideration within the IETF to specify the data
models to be used in NETCONF . This report describes the design and development
of a syntax and semantics parser for YANG in java
IP Simulator User Guide
This simulator allows to construct IPv4 network topologies with routers and end hosts. The focus of the simulator is on routing table configuration. The simulator could also run user network programs written with a java.net UDP like API
Data Link Layer Protocol Simulator User Guide
The data link layer protocol simulator allows to write protocol and to see them in execution. This guide describes a step by step approach from simple information communication without any control to windows protocols. A protocol oriented java API is defined to write protocol algorithms

Managing concurrent QoS assured Multicast sessions using a Programmable Network Architecture
International audienceIn this paper we address the management of concurrent multicast sessions with security and QoS guarantees. Their main feature is a high degree of change in terms of membership, implying the necessity for fast reconfiguration and provisioning. We will approach the management problem using techniques developed in the context of virtual private networks, adapted to the high dynamicity that we are confronted with. We propose a framework for the management of such networks by integrating the management and the control plane, using the programmable and active networks paradigms developed within the research community. We apply the framework to the management of residential user TV multicast, where an ATM based access network supports the delivery of TV content to all clients having subscribed to a DVPN
A Java based Implementation of a Network Level Information Model for the ATM / Frame Relay Interconnection
International audienceIn this presentation, we illustrate the use of the Java technology to implement a network information model which captures the essence of the ATM and Frame Relay Interconnection. We show how the TMN concepts stay valid and how the existing and extended information models can be reused and implemented according to the TMN principles in a full Java environment
