The reasons of water insulation problems of terrace roofs and solution methods

Türkiye'de halen teras çatılarda yalıtım uygulaması yok denecek düzeydedir. Bunun da ötesinde, bu çatılarda yüzey kaplaması da doğru yapılmadığından son kat döşemesinden binalara su girmektedir. Dolayısıyla teras çatılı binalarda su yalıtımının yetersizliğinden kaynaklanan çeşitli sorunlar yaşanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, teras çatılarda özellikle su tutucu tabakanın tasarım ve uygulanması aşamalarında göz önünde bulundurulması gereken ilkeler özetlenmiştir.The application of water insulation of terrace roofs is not still used widely in Turkey. Moreover, since surface covering is not done properly on these roofs, there is water leakage in the top floor of buildings. Therefore, some problems occur due to the insufficient insulation in buildings with terrace roof. Analyzing the implementation level of concurrent engineering in Turkish construction sector

Bu çalısmada, “Eszamanlı Mühendislik” (EM) adlı yeni bir yönetim anlayısının Türk ?nsaat Sektörü’ndeki uygulanabilirlik düzeyinin irdelenmesi amaçlanmıstır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda hazırlanan anket, sektörde yer alan yüklenici firmalara uygulanarak sonuçlar analiz edilmistir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, bu yeni kavramın sektörde tam anlamıyla bilinmediği; üst yönetim desteği, personel eğitimi ve ekip çalısmasının yetersiz olması; proje sürecinde yer alan aktörlerin tasarım kararlarına eksik katılımı ve birimler arası bilgi alısverisinin etkin olmamasının, EM’nin sektörde yaygın kullanılmasına engel teskil ettiği yönünde bulgulara ulasılmıstır. Bu bulgular değerlendirilerek, söz konusu engellerin ortadan kaldırılmasına yönelik öneriler sunulmustur.In this study, the implementation level of a new management approach, namely Concurrent Engineering (CE), in Turkish Construction Sector is studied. In this sense, a questionnaire survey has been practiced with the contractor companies in the sector and the results have been analyzed. According to the analysis results, the following findings are attained: the new concept is not exactly known in the sector; top management support, personnel training and teamwork are insufficient; the attendance of the actors, who are involved in the project process is lacking in terms of design decisions; and additionally, that the information exchange between the departments is inefficient. These findings create barriers for the common use of CE in the sector. By evaluating these findings, suggestions towards removing the above mentioned barriers are presented

A contract management model for construction pojects

İnşaat projelerinde katılımcılar projenin gerçekleştirilme aşamasında sözleşmenin yönetimi için çeşitli doküman ve formlardan yararlanmaktadırlar. Bunlardan bazıları katılımcılar arasında bilgi alışverişini ve iletişimi sağlamak için ortak olarak kullanılmalıdır. Bu çalışmada, proje katılımcılarının kullandıkları birçok form ve dokümanın ortak bir platformda toplanmasını ve izlenmesini sağlayacak bir sözleşme yönetim modeli tasarlanmıştır. Modeli oluşturan program Microsoft Access' da tasarlanmıştır ve toplam maliyet esasına dayalı inşaat projeleri için projenin yapım sürecinde kullanılmak üzere geliştirilmiştir. Program, projeler ve sözleşme dokümanları, şantiye kayıtları, değişikliklerin izlenmesi ve yönetimi, hakediş ödemeleri, anlaşmazlık izleme ve çözümü isimli modüllerden oluşmaktadır.Project participants use various documents and forms during management of a construction contract.
