Under organic farming conditions, twenty safflower genotypes were tested for genotype-by-environment interaction (GxE) and stability across four locations in Germany and Switzerland for seed yield and oil content.. ANOVA showed highly significant differences among the genotypes, locations and GxL interactions for yield and oil content. None of the genotypes had a significant regression coefficient or a mean square deviation from the regression coefficient, thereby all genotypes are considered stable for seed yield, whereas, BS-62929 and PI-5724755 were relatively the most stable for oil content

Effective strategic management serves as the bedrock for an organization's vision, goal attainment, and stakeholder expectations. Consequently, the research focus on strategy formulation and implementation has garnered substantial attention in recent decades. This study aims to evaluate bibliometric indicators of research productivity related to strategy formulation and implementation through meticulous bibliometric analysis. The analysis leverages the R Bibliometrix library on scientific publications indexed in the Web of Science database. The dataset comprises 672 publications on strategy formulation and implementation, spanning the years 1971 to 2022. Authored by 1,280 contributors from 69 countries, these publications are dispersed across 374 diverse sources, including journals and books. Impressively, this body of work has garnered a cumulative total of 24,635 citations, averaging 36.66 citations per document. The top-ranking article, "The Resource-Based Theory of Competitive Advantage: Implications for Strategy Formulation" by Robert M. Grant, stands out with 3,649 citations. Examining global scientific production, the United States emerges as the primary contributor with 154 publications (22.91%), followed by China with 56 (8.33%) and the United Kingdom with 54 (8.03%). The study's findings offer valuable insights for researchers and organizations alike, shedding light on significant research contributions. This comprehensive assessment enables a nuanced understanding of the historical progression and growth within this domain. Additionally, it identifies current focal points of research and highlights areas that warrant attention in future studies

Authentication of natural & halal yellow Carthamin from Safflower petals using ftir spectroscopy

Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) belongs to the composite family. Its florets contain edible carthamin and safflower yellow dyes. The pigments are very useful for dying foods and cosmetics. Natural pigments also have medicinal properties. In this research, external factors suspected to influence the chemical nature of carthamin and safflower yellow in aqueous media were studied. Dried florets were powdered and used for the extraction of carthamin, which was obtainable through alkaline extraction, acidification, and cellulose adsorption. Also, dried safflower powder was used for the extraction of water-soluble yellow pigment. The aqueous solutions of the pigments were exposed to some external factors, such as temperature ranged from 10 to 80°C, pH ranged from 2 up to 8. The results showed a higher temperature, carthamin was more readily decomposed, but safflower yellow wassn’t affected so much by the temperature. Carthamin is most stable at pH 3 – 6, however, there is increased degradation above and below this 3 – 6 pH range. These results were studied using FTIR spectroscopy to check patterns of stability of the pigments. Compared to the pigments, safflower yellow is more stable than carthamin in temperature and pH treatment. Natural pigments have biological value and belong to natural components of food products that are considered halalan tayyiban
