Luminescence of cesium iodide doped with divalent calcium, strontium, and manganese impurities

-The luminescence observed through ¥â-excitation (4300 A.) in CsI crystals contg. ¡­30 ppm. divalent impurities disappeared in pure crystals and was considerably intensified in the doped crystals. A change in the glow curve of the thermoluminescence was also observed.
