Single spin- and chiral-glass transition in vector spin glasses in three-dimensions

Electronic Structure of Cu_(1-x)Ni_xRh_2S_4 and CuRh_2Se_4: Band Structure Calculations, X-ray Photoemission and Fluorescence Measurements

The electronic structure of spinel-type Cu_(1-x)Ni_xRh_2S_4 (x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0) and CuRh_2Se_4 compounds has been studied by means of X-ray photoelectron and fluorescent spectroscopy. Cu L_3, Ni L_3, S L_(2,3) and Se M_(2,3) X-ray emission spectra (XES) were measured near thresholds at Beamline 8.0 of the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory's Advanced Light Source. XES measurements of the constituent atoms of these compounds, reduced to the same binding energy scale, are found to be in excellent agreement with XPS valence bands. The calculated XES spectra which include dipole matrix elements show that the partial density of states reproduce experimental spectra quite well. States near the Fermi level (E_F) have strong Rh d and S(Se) p character in all compounds. In NiRh_2S_4 the Ni 3d states contribute strongly at E_F, whereas in both Cu compounds the Cu 3d bands are only ~1 eV wide and centered ~2.5 eV below E_F, leaving very little 3d character at E_F. The density of states at the Fermi level is less in NiRh_2S_4 than in CuRh_2S_4. This difference may contribute to the observed decrease, as a function of Ni concentration, in the superconducting transition temperature in Cu_(1-x)Ni_xRh_2S_4. The density of states of the ordered alloy Cu_(1/2)Ni_(1/2)Rh_2S_4 shows behavior that is more ``split-band''-like than ``rigid band''-like.Comment: 7 pages of text, 11 trailing figures, updated to fix faulty postscript in Fig.

Extended skyrmion lattice scattering and long-time memory in the chiral magnet Fe1−x_{1-x}Cox_xSi

Small angle neutron scattering measurements on a bulk single crystal of the doped chiral magnet Fe$_{1-x}$Co$_x$Si with $x$=0.3 reveal a pronounced effect of the magnetic history and cooling rates on the magnetic phase diagram. The extracted phase diagrams are qualitatively different for zero and field cooling and reveal a metastable skyrmion lattice phase outside the A-phase for the latter case. These thermodynamically metastable skyrmion lattice correlations coexist with the conical phase and can be enhanced by increasing the cooling rate. They appear in a wide region of the phase diagram at temperatures below the $A$-phase but also at fields considerably smaller or higher than the fields required to stabilize the A-phase

Research proposed to seek the pattern, margin and marketing efficiency of egg layer in Manado City.  The research resulted that earning eggs amounted 1114 trays and 33420 item at first marketing channel. It earn 956 trays and 28680 item at second marketing channel. The research illustrated the first channel marketing margin amount IDR 9636. Then, second marketing margin amount IDR 6090. ANALISIS PREFERENSI KONSUMEN DALAM MEMBELI DAGING BROILER DI PASAR TRADISIONAL KOTA MANADO (STUDI KASUS “PASAR PINASUNGKULAN KAROMBASAN”)

ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF CONSUMER BUYING PREFERENCES IN BROILER MEAT AT TRADITIONAL MARKET IN MANADO CITY (CASE STUDY OF THE "PINASUNGKULAN KAROMBASAN MARKET"). The goals of this study was to analyze consumer preference and attitude on attribute variation of broilers at the traditional market in Manado. Study was conducted at the Pinasungkulan market, Karombasan Manado on February 2019. Survey method was used  by deep interview supported by questionnaire. Samples were defined by accidental sampling method involving fifty respondents. The primer and secondary data were used in this study and analyzed by Chi-Square and Multi attribute Fishbein analysis. The Chi-Square analysis indicated that all attributes studied were significantly different. This was meaning that there were differences of consumers preference on broilers. On the basis of Multi attribute Fishbein analysis indicated that all broiler attribute were considered by consumers in making decision of buying broilers. Broilers were became consumer preference significantly at the Pinasungkulan Market, meaning that there was difference of consumer preference on broiler attributes. Sequences of broiler attribute from the highest consideration to the lowest consideration were meat color, skin color, meat smell, skin tenderness and meat weight. The problem ofthis study is that are the consumptions ofmeat and eggs in the District SuluunTareran influenced by householdincome? The purpose of this study wasto evaluate the amount of meat and eggconsumptions of the household and todetermine the effect of householdincome on the consumption of meat andeggs at the district of Suluun Tareran.This research has been conducted in thedistrict of Suluun Tareran involving thetotal sample of 74 respondent ofhouseholds. Data collection of thisresearch was conducted during 2 monthsusing survey method. The data waereanalysed using simple regressionanalysis to determine the effect ofincome on consumption of meat andeggs. The results showed that theaverage household income was Rp2,558,050 per month. The sample was determined using method of purposive sampling techniques and involving respondent of 10 household farmers. The criteria of respondents were as follows: 1). They had knowledge of “blantik†market marketing activities. 2). They were active in any marketing activity 3). They had the experiences in the transaction of beef cattle in the “blantik†market place. Data collections method used were conducted by surveys and interviews. ANALISIS TITIK IMPAS USAHA TERNAK AYAM RAS PETELUR “DHARMA GUNAWAN”DI KELURAHAN PANIKI BAWAH KECAMATAN MAPANGET KOTA MANADO (STUDI KASUS)

ABSTRAKPenelitian dilaksanakan di Kota Manado, pada perusahaan peternakan Ayam Ras Petelur Dharma Gunawan yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Paniki Bawah Kecamatan Mapanget.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah berapa besar tercapainya titik impas dan berapa besar keuntungan usaha ternak ayam ras petelur Dharma Gunawan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui titik impas dan keuntungan usaha ternak ayam ras petelur Dharma Gunawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara secara langsung kepada peternak dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Model analisis yang digunakan yaitu model analisis deskriptif dengan cara verbal dan matematis. Cara verbal adalah cara yang menggunakan kata-kata untuk menerangkan sesuatu hal, sedangkan cara matematis dengan menggunakan analisis titik impas.Penelitian dilakukan pada satu periode produksi, menunjukkan bahwa dalam pengalokasian biaya menyangkut biaya tetap total sebesar Rp 413.793.300,-, dan biaya variabel total sebesar Rp 6.298.040.700,- sedangkan penerimaan total sebesar Rp 9.019.195.160, sehingga keuntungan usaha ternak ayam ras petelur sebesar Rp 2.307.361.460,-. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu titik impas tercapai pada unit 1.877.804,51 dan penerimaan sebesar Rp 1.799.100.000,- dari hasil penjualan telur rata-rata. Usaha ternak ayam petelur Dharma Gunawan prospektif dan menguntungkan. The problem in this study is howbreakeven and profit achievement of Dharma Gunawan layer chicken farm. The research objective was to determine the break-even point and profit of Dharma Gunawan layer chicken farm. The research method used is case study method. Dataobtained through direct interviews with farmer using a questionnaire. The analysis model used in the study is a descriptive analysis of verbal and mathematical way models. Verbal is the way how to use words to explain something, while mathematical way is the way of breakeven analysis. The study on allocation of costs and profitwas calculated in a production period on the chicken layer farm, showed that involves fixed costs total is Rp 413 793 300,-, total variable costs is Rp 6,298,040,700,- and total revenue is Rp 9,019,195,160,-, so profitof Dharma Gunawan chicken layer farm is Rp 2.307.361.460,-. The conclusion are reached breakeven in units is 1,877,804.51 and in revenue is Rp 1.7991 billion,- from the average sale of eggs. The Dharma Gunawan layer chicken farm is prospective and profitable. Universality of the helimagnetic transition in cubic chiral magnets: Small angle neutron scattering and neutron spin echo spectroscopy studies of Fe1−x_{1-x}Cox_xSi

We present a comprehensive Small Angle Neutron Scattering (SANS) and Neutron Spin Echo Spectroscopy (NSE) study of the structural and dynamical aspects of the helimagnetic transition in Fe$_{1-x}$Co$_x$Si with $x$ = 0.30. In contrast to the sharp transition observed in the archetype chiral magnet MnSi, the transition in Fe$_{1-x}$Co$_x$Si is gradual and long-range helimagnetic ordering coexists with short-range correlations over a wide temperature range. The dynamics are more complex than in MnSi and involve long relaxation times with a stretched exponential relaxation which persists even under magnetic field. These results in conjunction with an analysis of the hierarchy of the relevant length scales show that the helimagnetic transition in Fe$_{1-x}$Co$_x$Si differs substantially from the transition in MnSi and question the validity of a universal approach to the helimagnetic transition in chiral magnets
