Match Probability Statistics and Gamma Ray Burst Recurrences in the BATSE Catalog
We develop match probability statistics to test the recurrences of gamma ray
bursts in the BATSE catalog 1B and 2B. We do not find a signal of repetitions
at the match level of 1.e-3.Comment: 4 pages, LaTeX, two macros included (kluwer.sty, spacekap.sty) To

Molecular states
Motivated by the recent finding of five states by the LHCb
collaboration, and the successful reproduction of three of them in a recent
approach searching for molecular states of meson-baryon with the quantum
numbers of , we extend these ideas and make predictions for the
interaction of meson-baryon in the beauty sector, searching for poles in the
scattering matrix that correspond to physical states. We find several
states: two states with masses 6405~MeV and 6465~MeV for ; two more states with masses 6427~MeV and 6665~MeV for
; and three states between 6500 and 6820~MeV, degenerate with
, stemming from the interaction of
vector-baryon in the beauty sector.Comment: 11 pages, 9 tables; v2: discussion added, version accepted for

Double Type-II Seesaw, Baryon Asymmetry and Dark Matter for Cosmic e^\pm Excesses
We construct a new realization of type-II seesaw for neutrino masses and
baryon asymmetry by extending the standard model with one light and two heavy
singlet scalars besides one Higgs triplet. The heavy singlets pick up small
vacuum expectation values to give a suppressed trilinear coupling between the
triplet and doublet Higgs bosons after the light singlet drives the spontaneous
breaking of lepton number. The Higgs triplet can thus remain light and be
accessible at the LHC. The lepton number conserving decays of the heavy
singlets can generate a lepton asymmetry stored in the Higgs triplet to account
for the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the Universe. We further introduce
stable gauge bosons from a hidden sector, which obtain masses and annihilate
into the Higgs triplet after spontaneous breaking of the associated non-Abelian
gauge symmetry. With Breit-Wigner enhancement, the stable gauge bosons can
simultaneously explain the relic density of dark matter and the cosmic
positron/electron excesses.Comment: 9 pages, 4 figures, minor rewording, final PRD version (in Press
High Temperature Superfluid and Feshbach Resonance
We study an effective field theory describing cold fermionic atoms near a
Feshbach resonance. The theory gives a unique description of the dynamics in
the limit that the energy of the Feshbach resonance is tuned to be twice that
of the Fermi surface. We show that in this limit the zero temperature
superfluid condensate is of order the Fermi energy, and obtain a critical
