    The problem underlying this study is the low learning results can be seen in the learning process, teachers do apperception, but not as much as possible, teachers convey meteri only with the lecture method alone causing boredom in students, less teachers guide students in doing the exercises. Noting the above conditions, the researchers apply to the type of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT). NHT type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes Elementary School class VB 116 Pekanbaru. Subjects in this study were students Elementary School VB 116 Pekanbaru academic year 2014/2015 the number of students 38 people. This study design using Action Research (PTK) done in two cycles, each cycle is done twice a meeting with one final replay. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics in primary school students of class VB 116 Pekanbaru with the implementation of cooperative learning model with NHT. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model NHT can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Elementary School class VB 116 Pekanbaru. At the beginning of the data base score 60.26 (not completed) then the first cycle increased to 68.82 (not finished) and the second cycle increased to 90.00 (complete). Increased mastery learning hail from a base score to uh I adalah14,21% and an increase of the base score to UH II become 49.35%. The activities of teachers and students at the first meeting was 46.87% and 43.75% (or less), the second meeting increased to 59.38% and 56.25% (enough), the third meeting increased to 78.13% and 75.00 % (good) and the fourth meeting increased to 96.88% and 93.75% (very good). Based on the explanation of the above it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model NHT can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Elementary School class VB 116 Pekanbaru

    The Influence of Injection SGnRH+Domperidon by Different Dosage to Egg Quality and Hatching of Betok (Anabas Testudineus)

    The research was conducted from Oktober to November 2014 at Fish Breeding and Hatchery Laboratory Fisheris and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. It was aim to know the influence of sGnRH+Domperidon injection by different dosage to egg quality and hatching of betok. It the research experiment method was applied with four treatmens and tree replications. The treatment injection by fisiologis solution 0,9 %, injection by sGnRH+Domperidon 0,5 ml/kg. 0,7 ml/kg and 0,9 ml/kg weigh of fish. The result showed that treatment with different dosage of sGnRH+Domperidon provide a significant influence on total of latency time of spawning, eggs ovulation/g weight of fish, eggs diameter, fertilization, egg hatchability and survival rate of larval. The best result was got from 0,5 ml/kg dosage with latency time 6,49 hour, total eggs ovulated 212/g weight of fish, accretion diameter of egg 0,184 mm, egg fertilized 75,11 %, egg hatchability 78,09 % and survival rate of living larvae was 82,36 %.Water quality during experiment was always in good condition for living

    Banana peel can be used as an alternative feed based on the potential availability and nutritional. The experiments were conducted to improve the nutrient quality of Banana Peel and Tofu Waste mixture (BPTW) by using Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Neurospora crassa. This substrate consists of banana peel 70% and tofu waste 30%. The experiment was performed in 3 treatment completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 replicates. The treatments were : A= fermentation BPTW by Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Neurospora crassa (1:1), B = fermentation BPTW by Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Neurospora crassa (2:1), and C = fermentation BPTW by Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Neurospora crassa (1:2). Measured variables were Crude Fiber (CF), Crude Protein (CP), Nitrogen Retention and CF digestion. The result of the research showed that the treatment affected significantly (p<0.01) reduced CF and increased CP, nitrogen retention and CF digestion.     Analisis Permasalahan Guru Terkait Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis Model Inquiry dan Permasalahan Siswa Terkait Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah dalam Pembelajaran Biologi di SMA

    The aim of this study is to obtain (1) description of the understanding level of high school teachers related biology learning tools through the Inquiry based learning model, (2) the solutions formulation to solve the problems of teachers solutions related to the development of Biology learning tools in high school, (3) description of the level of problem-solving skills of students related to learning biology-based Inquiry models, (4) the solutions formulation to solve the students problem solving skills related to Inquiry based biology learning model. The observation results of teachers and students problems were analyzed by descriptive qualitative showed that (1) the understanding level of teachers related inquiry based model of biology learning tools is still lacking, so its USAge in the learning process has not done optimally, (2) Teachers have trouble in making learning tools. Therefore, teachers need a reference benchmark, mentoring activities and socialization in inquiry based learning model development, (3) Students are still difficult to solve problems in the learning process in the classroom, (4) lack of problem-solving skills students need to be addressed with the full guidance teacher to student related problem solving skills.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh (1) gambaran pemahaman guru SMA terkait perangkat pembelajaran Biologi melalui model pembelajaran berbasis Inquiry, (2) rumusan solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan guru terkait pengembangan perangkat pembelajarann Biologi di SMA, (3) gambaran tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa terkait pembelajaran Biologi berbasis model Inquiry, dan (4) rumusan solusi dalam mengatasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa terkait pembelajaran Biologi berbasis model Inquiry. Hasil observasi permasalahan guru dan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa (1) pemahaman guru terkait perangkat pembelajaran Biologi berbasis model inkuiri masih kurang sehingga penggunaannya pada proses pembelajaran belum dilakukan secara optimal, (2) guru mengalami kendala dalam pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, guru memerlukan referensi acuan, kegiatan pendampingan dan sosialisasi dalam pengembangangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model Inquiry, (3) Siswa masih sulit dalam memecahkan permasalahan pada proses pembelajaran di kelas, dan (4) rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa perlu diatasi dengan bimbingan penuh guru kepada siswa terkait kemampuan pemecahan masalah

    Giving Effect of Different Natural Feed on the Growth and Survivval Fish Larvae Climbing Perch (Anabas Testudinieus)

    The research was conducted in April to May 2015 in the Laboratory ofFish Hatchery and Breeding Faculty of Fisheries and Marine SciencesUniversity of Riau. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect ofdifferent natural feed on the growth and survival of fish larvae. This researchused the experimental method, while the experimental design that was usedcompletely randomized design (CRD) with 3 levels of treatment and 3repetitions. The treatments in this research are PA (natural feeding Artemia sp),PT (Feeding naturally worms Tubifex sp), and PKA (natural feeding Kutu air).The result showed that feeding kutu air naturally is the best to feed thegrowth of absolute weight that produces 0.659 grams, the growth of theabsolute length of 2.66 cm, the daily growth rate of 21.633%, while the bestsurvival rate found in the natural feeding Artemia sp is 81 %

    Validasi Metode Aanc Untuk Pengujian Unsur Mn, Mg Dan Cr Pada Cuplikan Sedimen Di Sungai Gajahwong

    VALIDASI METODE AANC UNTUK PENGUJIAN UNSUR Mn, Mg DAN Cr PADA CUPLIKAN SEDIMEN SUNGAIGAJAHWONG. Telah dilakukan validasi unsur Mn, Mg dan Cr menggunakan metoda AANC. Sebagai standardigunakan SRM NBS 8704 (Bufallo River Sediment), dengan kondisi operasi generator neutron optimum padategangan pemercepat 110 kV. Kalibrasi energi dan nomer salur dengan sumber standar diperoleh persamaan y =1,034x + 151,21. Dari hasil analisis kualitatif menunjukkan puncak Cr dan Mn terjadi penimbrungan (interferensi),sehingga hanya unsur Mg yang dapat dianalisis. Hasil analisis kandungan unsur Mg (SRM) diperoleh harga presisi =95,53 % dan akurasi = 94,88%, sedangkan harga rerata ketidakpastian diperluas untuk berbagai lokasi = 0,233 ± 0,012. Hasil analisis kandungan Mg pada berbagai lokasi di sepanjang sungai Gajahwong berkisar antara 85,41 -103,55 ppm. Bila dibandingkan dengan penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan kandungan unsur Fe, Al dan Si jauhlebih tinggi dibanding kandungan Mg
