    Didactic features of pedagogical interaction as the basis of university education

    © 2017 Serials Publications.The relevance of the study is conditioned by the change of university education's values and sustainable orientation on the development of students' need "to go beyond being studied," and the ability to educate themselves throughout their lives. The purpose of the article is to develop practical recommendations on optimization of pedagogical interaction of teachers and students at the university. The leading approach to the study is the personality-centered approach involving the formation of each student's experience of creativity and capacity for self-organization and self-realization. The study involved 500 teachers and 500 students who learned functions of seminars (explanatory - systematizing, control - evaluative, information - cognitive, educational - developmental, general cultural, practice - oriented) and justified demands for seminars (exchange of information, teacher's focus on enhancing of each student's cognitive activity, cooperation of students with the teacher, the students performance of the roles of discussion's participant, opponent, thinker). The main results of the study are to identify methods (organizational - procedural, productive - practical, verbal - logical) and criteria for co-creation of the teacher and students. The significance of the results obtained is that the seminars' functions found out enable to combine the entities of co-creation on the basis of general cognitive interest (seminars - discussions) and the ability to meet their own learning needs (seminars - research). Demands put forward for seminars enable to develop criteria for evaluating the performance at the seminars, find types and techniques of conducting the training dispute. Methods identified make it possible to create different patterns of interaction of teachers and students both vertically and horizontally; organize the work of the students in small groups, pairs; engage students in the study and production planning, collective - individual thinking activity on lectures and seminars. The identified criteria for co-creation provide for entities' single "target space", functional responsibilities and co-management, the development of communicative and reflexive abilities, needs' updating in creative work

    Composites anatase/Y2O3, η-TiO2/Y2O3, Degussa P25/Y2O3 and Hombifine/Y2O3 were prepared by simultaneous dispersion of Y2O3 and TiO2 powders in weakly alkaline aqueous media or dispersion of Y2O3 powders in acidic titania-containing hydrosols followed by special treatment. Initial reagents and composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, transmission and scanning electronic microscopy with X-ray spectral microanalysis.Впервые получены композиты анатаз/Y2O3, η-TiO2/Y2O3, Degussa P25/Y2O3 нанесением наноразмерных модификаций диоксида титана со структурами анатаза и η-модификации и Degussa P25 на субмикронные сферы Y2O3 путём совместного диспергирования порошков Y2O3 и TiO2 в слабощелочной водной среде либо диспергирования порошка Y2O3 вкислотном титансодержащем гидрозоле с последующей обработкой.     Personality profiles and the "russian soul": Literary and scholarly views evaluated

    Many domestic and foreign observers have claimed that Russians have a unique constellation of personality traits that mirrors their distinctive historical and cultural experience. To examine the hypothesized uniqueness of Russian personality, members of the Russian Character and Personality Survey collected data from 39 samples in 33 administrative areas of the Russian Federation. Respondents (N = 7,065) identified an ethnically Russian adult or college-aged man or woman whom they knew well and rated the target using the Russian observer-rating version of the Revised NEO Personality Inventory. The mean personality profile of Russians was very similar to the international average based on 50 different countries, debunking the myth of a unique Russian soul.The small variations from world norms did not converge with depictions of Russian national character in fiction and the scholarly literature. New items intended to capture distinctive, emic aspects of Russian personality provided no new information beyond the familiar Big Five dimensions. Religion, ethnicity, and beliefs about the uniqueness of the Russian character and the malleability of personality traits had little effect on personality ratings. Perceptions of the Russian soul do not seem to be based on the personality traits of Russians

    Целью статьи является сравнительный анализ развития социальных сетей в России и США. Показана сильная роль социальной составляющей в развитии сетей на примере истории Friendster. Отмечается ориентация сетей на различные референтные группы на первых этапах своего развития (MySpace – рок-музыканты, Facebook – студенты университетов). Важным фактором развития сетей выступают риски их использования, преодоление которых является условием их успешного развития. Для сети MySpace риски были связаны с проблемой педофилии, а для Facebook – с вопросами приватности и конфиденциальности. Показано, что существующая модель групповой структуры социальных сетей является отражением классовой структуры общества. В статье рассматривается развитие российских сетей; сделан вывод о различии рисков их использования как о культурном факторе. Для сети «ВКонтакте» это различные формы правового нигилизма (нарушение авторских прав, махинации во время проведения ЕГЭ). Авторы делают вывод о невозможности доминирования сети Facebook в рамках культур, отличающихся от американской.The article is aimed at comparative research of the development of social networking in Russia and the United States. As in the case of Friendster, the significant role of the social component in the development of social networks is revealed. It is argued that social networks were initially oriented toward certain target groups, i.e. rock musicians (MySpace) or college and university students (Facebook). Account holders'risks and challenges related to the use of social media serve the key factor of the development of social networking, and overcoming those challenges is the condition of further improvement. Thus, MySpace faced risks related to the problem of pedophilia while Facebook had to solve problems concerning privacy. The article shows that the existing group structure of social media reflects the real social stratification. It is argued that social media users' risks varying in the two countries may serve a cultural factor. Vkontakte faces the risks of law nihilism (e.g. abuse of property rights and unlawful behaviour during secondary certificate state exams in Russia). It is stressed that Facebook is highly unlikely to dominate in cultures different from the American culture

    Целью статьи является изучение роли общественного мнения в развитии социальных сетей. В статье анализируется структура общественного мнения в отношении социальных сетей, представляющая собой совокупность мнений различных социальных групп (пользователей, противников, государства и производителей). Дается сравнение их роли. Государство использует телевидение для формирования позитивного имиджа своей политики. Наибольшим вниманием, с правовой точки зрения, пользуются сообщения о применении сетей в акциях протеста. Незначительное влияние противников сетей и рост внимания к производителям вызван широким внедрением социальных сетей в повседневную жизнь. На основе изучения новостных сообщений ТРК «Вести» установлено, что основным трендом общественного мнения является усиление внимания к проблеме безопасности несовершеннолетних пользователей в сетях. Это выражается в освещении правового аспекта (преступления против несовершеннолетних), этического (самоубийства, аддикция, демонстрация сцен насилия над личностью) и педагогического (махинации во время ЕГЭ). Подтверждением внимания к молодежи, как к наиболее важной социальной группе в сетевом пространстве, является и упоминание о молодежной сети «ВКонтакте», и незначительное внимание к «Одноклассникам».The purpose of the present article is the analysis of the role of public opinion in development of social networks. In the article the structure of public opinion concerning the networks, representing a set of opinions of various social groups (users, opponents, the state and manufacturers) is analyzed. Their roles are compared. The state uses television for formation of a positive image of the political course. Most of attention, from the legal point of view, is given to messages on the use of networks in protest actions. An insignificant influence of opponents of networks and growth of attention to network manufacturers is caused by their wide implementation in the everyday life. On the basis of research of news messages of the Broadcasting Company «Vesti» it is stated that the basic trend of public opinion is strengthening of attention to the problem of safety of children, being users of networks. It shows in the focus on the legal aspect (a crime against minors), ethical (suicides, addiction, demonstration of scenes of human violence) and pedagogical (frauds during the Unified State Examination). The focus on the youth network «VKontakte» and insignificant attention to «Odnoklassniki» also supports the argument about the youth being the most important social group in the network space
