Cultural Creative Product Design from the Perspective of Chinese Ancient Ware Modelling

    Get PDF
As a high value-added product, cultural creative products emphasize the cultural connotation of products. Taking tourist souvenirs as an example, the country vigorously develops the green economy represented by tourism, which drives the rise of cultural creative product design. How to design excellent cultural creative products has become a realistic topic. Ancient Chinese artefacts have inherited and accumulated a long tradition of culture, and shaped excellent creative products worthy of our learning and reference. This paper discusses the cultural connotation, cultural integration and humanistic thoughts of the design of ancient Chinese artefacts and provides useful ideas for the design of cultural creative products today

Study on Man-machine Design of Armoured Vehicles Operation Space

This paper proposes an improved armoured vehicle control room based on ergonomic theory and computer-aided design technology to create efficiency by improving panel layout and seat design. Current design of existing control rooms that do not maximize ergonomics can create operator fatigue and user error. Optimal control room design was created by considering console size, console layout, and user seat dimensions and were entered into JACK software for simulation tests

The glass transition in the high-density amorphous Zn/Co-ZIF-4

The high-density amorphous phases (HDAs) of bimetallic zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (Zn/Co-ZIF-4) were prepared. The temperature dependence of the isobaric heat capacity (Cp) of ZIF-4 HDAs was measured to determine the glass transition temperature (Tg) of HDAs. The Tg non-linearly decreases with the molar ratio R, where R is Co/(Co + Zn), indicating the presence of a mixed-metal node effect. This effect arises from the non-linear increase of the degree of configurational freedom in the HDA as R increases. The degree of configurational freedom is inversely correlated with the network connectivity, which is, in turn, affected by variations in the MN4 (M: Zn or Co; N: nitrogen) tetrahedral symmetry in the ZIF-4 HDA. Overall, this work offers valuable insights into the glass transition of metal-organic frameworks

Microplastics in Sediment and Surface Water of West Dongting Lake and South Dongting Lake: Abundance, Source and Composition

    No full text
Microplastic pollution was investigated in sediment and surface water in West Dongting Lake and South Dongting Lake for the first time. The abundance of microplastics ranged from 616.67 to 2216.67 items/m3 and 716.67 to 2316.67 items/m3 in the lakeshore surface water of West Dongting Lake and South Dongting Lake, respectively. The highest levels of microplastic pollution were found in the lakes’ outlets. In the lake center sites of the West Dongting Lake and South Dongting Lake, the abundance of microplastics ranged from 433.33 to 1500 items/m3 and 366.67 to 1566.67 items/m3, respectively. Meanwhile, the study found that in lakeshore sediment of West Dongting Lake and South Dongting Lake, microplastic concentrations ranged from 320 to 480 items/m3 and 200–1150 items/m3. Polystyrene (PS) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) were most common in the surface water and sediment samples, respectively. In addition, we suggest that the effects of polymer types in microplastics should be taken into account when considering abundance. This study can provide valuable points of reference to better understanding microplastic pollution in inland freshwater areas
