Hospitality and Questions in Classical Christian Education

Christian parents continue to have few education options suitable for kingdom children. While textbooks and test scores hold prominent consideration for many Christian parents, neither cultivate a love of learning nor human flourishing. Rather, it is the language used in the learning environment that invites or repels engagement and learning. An expository exploration of sentence purposes and the type of sentence most commonly used by Christ to engage His learners reveals the power of the question. Appropriately asked, questions welcome learners to actively participate as well as to attentively listen. It is the workhorse of humility, for the question is a continual reminder that humans cannot know everything: they are not omniscient. In such an educational setting, neither the student nor the teacher occupies center stage. Practicing the art of the question on the mysteries of creation inspires the imagination and cultivates the wisdom necessary to transcend the inadequacies of a modern education. Initial Student Impressions and Affinity Towards the Institution

This study attempted to explore the relationship between the university affinity and initial impressions of undergraduate students at a mid-size, Midwestern university. A quantitative study was employed after acquiring data using Berquam\u27s (2013) Relationship Quality Student Affinity instrument, which measured a student\u27s commitment and pride, as well as their initial impressions towards the university. Results from the Chi Square test for independence showed evidence that initial impressions were related to university affinity, aligning with prior research. Other results from the study indicated that initial impressions and university affinity were also related to university choice rank. Recommendations were made for the university to invest in ways to improve the school\u27s standings in rankings as well as increase marketing to the public and prospective students to encourage external prestige

PERANCANGAN PENILAIAN KINERJA BERDASARKAN KOMPETENSI DAN KPI (KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR) PADA PT. KMI

Sistem penilaian kinerja  yang dilakukan oleh PT. KMI saat ini berdasarkan pada absensi dan ingatan atasan terhadap sikap karyawan tersebut. Sistem penilaian saat ini menimbulkan ketidakpuasan karyawan karena prestasi kerja karyawan tidak termasuk dalam sistem penilaian prestasi kerja. Padahal penilaian ini berdampak pada pemberian insentif atau bonus. Penilaian kinerja berdasarkan KPI (Key Performance Indicator) dan Kompetensi (Behavior) dirancang untuk meningkatkan objektifitas penilaian kinerja, serta mengidentifikasi kelemahan karyawan dan merencanakan  program pengembangan kompetensi karyawan. Penelitian ini dalakukan secara kualitatif dengan interview dan Focus Group Activity (FGD), dengan melakukan simulasi di bagian produksi. Berdasarkan hasil survey terhadap karyawan, didapatkan bahwa 85% menyatakan lebih puas dengan system penilaian yang baru  dengan alasan lebih objektif dan transparan dan 15% menyatakan lebih suka dengan system yang lama. Hal ini karena dengan system yang baru, menuntut mereka harus menyiapkan data pendukung dalam penilaian karyawa

ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKSI USAHATANI JAGUNG DI DESA LEUNTOLU KECAMATAN RAIMANUK KABUPATEN BELU

This research was conducted in Leuntou Village, Raimanuk sub District, District Belu. The research aimed to know the revenue and knowing the factors that affect the production of corn farming. Data was collected by interviews with 76 respondents using questionnaires. Tabulated and analyzed used the Cobb-Douglass production function model. The results showed that the total average income per hectare of corn farming was Rp. 10.212.331.58 with an average revenue per hectare was Rp. 13.363.486.84 and average total cost per hectare was Rp. 3.151.155.26. from the results of regression function Cobb-Douglass, determination coefficients (R2) was 0.997. Test results of F (test diversity) obtained that factors production, selling price, labor, land area influenting corn production. While the results of the test t (partial test) obtained that factors which influenced corn farming were selling price (X1), production (X2), and pesticides (X6). Labor (X3), seed (X4), pesticides (X5), labor (X7) has no effect on corn production

This thesis discusses the Legal Strength of Land Tenure Certificate (SKPT) as a Proof of Legal Mastery over a Plot of Land (Study In Pontianak City). From the results of this thesis research obtained the conclusion that the Land Tenure (SPT) has the force of law as evidence of the mastery of a plot of land. a land certificate in Pontianak City, where people in the city of Pontianak much entrust the process of buying land to the head of the village chief. The village head is a key figure in urban governance and is an influential formal leader in community life. Service to the making of certificate of land ownership has been regulated in Mayor Pontianak Regulation No. 28 of 2016 on Amendment of Mayor Regulation No. 51 Year 2015 About Service Standard Of Sub District And Village In The Environment Of Pontianak Municipal Government. Land tenure (SPT) which is the base of rights that are widely used in various regions, in the country there are different terms but this is the same as the letter of letter or some people call it "SPT Kepala Desa / Kelurahan" and this is included in form of written proof instrument. Land Tenure Certificate (SPT) can be used as legal evidence in the process of making certificates.
