    <p>High temperatures (37°C) and nitrate are required for optimal production of the pigment. Note also the strong reduction of conidiospores on top of the vegetative mycelium in the <i>tupA</i> mutant grown on ammonium as nitrogen source. Pictures taken after 3 days.</p
