Study of the influence of L-norvaline, rosuvastatin and their combination on the level of microcirculation in bone tissue in experimental osteoporosis and fractures on its background

    Get PDF
The experiment was carried out in female white Wistar rats to investigate the effect of L-norvaline, rosuvastatin and their combination on parameters of blood supply to the bone tissue on models of experimental osteoporosis and osteoporotic fracture

Altered hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis activity in patients with chronic heart failure

In our study we applied immunohistochemical method and quantitative analysis to investigate an expression of hypothalamic neurohormones (corticotropin-releasing hormone, vasopressin) and adrenocorticotropin hormone in the pituitary, as well as performed general histological examination of the adrenal contexyesBelgorod State Universit

The development of hypertensive neuroretinopathy model on wistar rats

    Get PDF
A model of hypertensive neuroretinopathy was developed on Wistar line rats with administration of non-selective NO-synthase blocker N-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME) in a dose 12.5 mg/kg within 28 days on the background of single increased intraocular pressure (IOP) to 110 mmHg. As a result of the interim evaluation of pathology simulation mode the most optimal was a model of hypertensive neuroretinopathy with 5-minute increased IOP at day 26 of the experiment on the background of L-NAME for further study of neuroretinoprotective properties of pharmacological agent

Pharmacological preconditioning by recombinant erythropoietin as the possibility of increasing the stability of tissue of the retina to reperfusion ischemia in experiment

    Get PDF
Ischemic injury was formed in laboratory rats by applying mechanical pressure (110 mm Hg) to the anterior eye chamber for 30 minutes. The experiment revealed that the recombinant erythropoietin (50 IU/kg) prevents the development of degenerative changes in retinal layers caused by ischemic injur

Pharmacological correction of L-NAME-induced oxide deficiency with derivatives of 3-(2,2,2-trimethylhydrazinium) propionate

    Get PDF
This paper deals with the study of correction of L-NAME-induced endothelial dysfunction by means of 3-(2,2,2-trimethylhydrazinium) propionate derivative

Retinoprotective effects of non-selective imidazoline receptor agonists

Current drug therapy of ophtalmic diseases associated with retinal ischemia is not always successful enough that ensures the relevance of the search of new effective drug

Adenomatous lesions of the major duodenal papilla in conjunction with pancreatic heterotopia

    Get PDF
The study was carried out on the material of 327 pathoanatomical autopsies taking into account the sex, age, clinical data, pathoanatomical, and clinical diagnoses. The material is divided into two groups: The 1st group - without an ectopic pancreatic tissue in the major duodenum papilla (279 cases) and the 2nd group - with different variants of ectopic pancreatic tissue (48 cases). In each of them, the distribution was carried out according to sex, age, and cause of deat

Comparative analysis of tissue reactions during implantation of endoprostheses made of polytetrafluoroethylene in the anterior abdominal wall

    Get PDF
The objective of this research was a comparative study of the reaction of the tissues of the anterior abdominal wall to the PTFE-endoprosthesis with a DLC-coating at long-term experimental stage

Review of a new concept of glaucoma pathogenesis based on the glymphatic theory of cerebrospinal fluid circulation

Clinical evidence for the glymphatic system hypothesis: There is some clinical, including case-based, and epidemiological evidence for similarities between glaucomatous optic nerve/retinal injuries and AD, since both occur in the form of improper secretion of neurotoxic metabolites, and both are often diagnosed togethe
