Skeletal Muscle Pseudohypertrophy in AL Amyloidosis

A 65 year-old male presented a gastric ulcer, skeletal muscle firmness and pseudohypertrophy, macroglossia, monoclonal IgG-Kappa in the serum and monoclonal light chain of kappa type in the urine, with plasmacytosis in the marrow. A clinical diagnosis of myeloma-associated amyloidosis, that is, AL amyloidosis was established. A rare mainfestation of skeletal muscle pseudohypertrophy was discussed
