A path planning control for a vessel dynamic positioning system based on robust adaptive fuzzy strategy

The thrusters and propulsion propellers systems, as well as the operating situations, are all well-known nonlinearities which are caused less accuracy of the dynamic positioning system (DPS) of vessels in the path planning control process. In this study, to enhance the robust performance of the DPS, we proposed a robust adaptive fuzzy control model to reduce the effect of uncertainty problems and disturbances on the DPS. Firstly, the adaptive fuzzy controller with adaptive law is designed to adjust the membership function of the fuzzy controller to minimize the error in path planning control of the vessel. Secondly, the H∞ performance of robust tracking is proved by the Lyapunov theory. Moreover, compared to the other controller, a simulation experiment comprising two case studies confirmed the efficiency of the approach. Finally, the results showed that the proposed controller reaches control quality, performance and stability

Canonical Transformations in a Higher-Derivative Field Theory

It has been suggested that the chiral symmetry can be implemented only in classical Lagrangians containing higher covariant derivatives of odd order. Contrary to this belief, it is shown that one can construct an exactly soluble two-dimensional higher-derivative fermionic quantum field theory containing only derivatives of even order whose classical Lagrangian exhibits chiral-gauge invariance. The original field solution is expressed in terms of usual Dirac spinors through a canonical transformation, whose generating function allows the determination of the new Hamiltonian. It is emphasized that the original and transformed Hamiltonians are different because the mapping from the old to the new canonical variables depends explicitly on time. The violation of cluster decomposition is discussed and the general Wightman functions satisfying the positive-definiteness condition are obtained.Comment: 12 pages, LaTe

USE OF SOCIAL NETWORK IN MARKETING IN HANOI, VIETNAM A SMALL CASE STUDY

This Term project will give you an overview of using social networks in marketing – which is a very popular approach to selling products and services nowadays. The Term Project contents 4 Parts. Part 1 provides the definition of social network and its popularity in daily life in general and in marketing in particular. Followed by part 1, part 2 of the term project clarifies the differences between traditional marketing and social network marketing and then transitions from the traditional approach to this modern one. Given the transition, part 3 explains the reasons why marketers prefer social network marketing and at the same time points out some disadvantages that marketers normally face with. Finally, the term project ends with the most outstanding case study – Facebook, illustrating how the social network is being used in marketing.

Avaliação vegetativa de clones de camucamuzeiro em Belém-Pará.

Objetivou-se avaliar caracteres vegetativos de camucamuzeiro nas condições de Belém - PA. Foram mensurados sete caracteres vegetativos em dez clones instalados em delineamento de blocos ao acaso, com quatro repetições e parcelas lineares de três plantas, em cinco avaliações. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de variância por meio da média de cada parcela e estimados parâmetros genéticos. Os clones diferiram significativamente entre si, em todas as avaliações, ao nível de 1% de probabilidade para a maioria dos caracteres, exceto para diâmetro do caule (DC) e forma da copa (FC). Os caracteres altura da planta (AP), número de ramos (NR), comprimento da folha (CF) e largura da folha (LF) exibiram as maiores herdabilidades, coeficientes de variação genéticos mais expressivos e as maiores razões para CVg/Cve. Logo, os clones são distintos geneticamente para caracteres vegetativos, sendo os caracteres AP, NR, CF e LF úteis na seleção.PIBIC-2011

Os impactos do paradigma do conceito de desenvolvimento sustentável na formação do técnico agrícola do Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas IFAM- Campus Zona Leste.

Neste trabalho são apresentados os fatores determinantes na formação profissional dos técnicos agrícolas e a influência dos paradigmas do desenvolvimento sustentável na sua qualificação profissional. Para tanto, os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados foram entrevistas estruturadas tanto com os técnicos formados, quanto com os formadores, analisando o conteúdo das informações destas entrevista. Nos capítulos teóricos, apresentam-se os aspectos históricos sobre a formação dos técnicos agrícolas, relacionados à mudança na relação homem-natureza, os marcos históricos do movimento ambientalista, questões sobre o desenvolvimento sustentável e a influência do paradigma da sustentabilidade na formação profissional. Na conclusão refuta-se a hipótese de que o modelo pedagógico Taylorista-Fordista, com forte enfoque positivista tenha sido superado, pelos modelos sistêmicos, interligados e interdependentes da sustentabilidade.Dissertação (Mestrado em Desenvolvimento Regional) - Universidade Federal do Amazonas, Manaus.
