Higher Spin BRS Cohomology of Supersymmetric Chiral Matter in D=4
We examine the BRS cohomology of chiral matter in , supersymmetry
to determine a general form of composite superfield operators which can suffer
from supersymmetry anomalies. Composite superfield operators \Y_{(a,b)} are
products of the elementary chiral superfields and \ov S and the
derivative operators D_\a, \ov D_{\dot \b} and \pa_{\a \dot \b}. Such
superfields \Y_{(a,b)} can be chosen to have `' symmetrized undotted
indices \a_i and `' symmetrized dotted indices \dot \b_j. The result
derived here is that each composite superfield \Y_{(a,b)} is subject to
potential supersymmetry anomalies if is an odd number, which means that
\Y_{(a,b)} is a fermionic superfield.Comment: 15 pages, CPT-TAMU-20/9
FIREX mission requirements document for nonrenewable resources
The proposed mission requirements and a proposed experimental program for satellite synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system named FIREX (Free-Flying Imaging Radar Experiment) for nonrenewable resources is described. The recommended spacecraft minimum SAR system is a C-band imager operating in four modes: (1) low look angle HH-polarized; (2) intermediate look angle, HH-polarized; (3) intermediate look angle, IIV-polarized; and (4) high look angle HH-polarized. This SAR system is complementary to other future spaceborne imagers such as the Thematic Mapper on LANDSAT-D. A near term aircraft SAR based research program is outlined which addresses specific mission design issues such as preferred incidence angles or polarizations for geologic targets of interest
FIREX mission requirements document for renewable resources
The initial experimental program and mission requirements for a satellite synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system FIREX (Free-Flying Imaging Radar Experiment) for renewable resources is described. The spacecraft SAR is a C-band and L-band VV polarized system operating at two angles of incidence which is designated as a research instrument for crop identification, crop canopy condition assessments, soil moisture condition estimation, forestry type and condition assessments, snow water equivalent and snow wetness assessments, wetland and coastal land type identification and mapping, flood extent mapping, and assessment of drainage characteristics of watersheds for water resources applications. Specific mission design issues such as the preferred incidence angles for vegetation canopy measurements and the utility of a dual frequency (L and C-band) or dual polarization system as compared to the baseline system are addressed
Fiscal Policy under Imperfect Competition: A Survey
This paper surveys the link between imperfect competition and the e¤ects of fiscal policy on output, employment and welfare. We examine static and dynamic models, with and without entry under a variety of assumptions using a common analytical framework. We find that in general there is a robust relationship between the fiscal multiplier and welfare, the tantalizing possibility of Pareto improving fiscal policy is much more elusive. In general, the mechanisms are supply side, and so welfare improving policy, whilst possible, is not a general result. Key words: Fiscal Policy; Imperfect Competition.
TDRSS telecommunications system, PN code analysis
The pseudo noise (PN) codes required to support the TDRSS telecommunications services are analyzed and the impact of alternate coding techniques on the user transponder equipment, the TDRSS equipment, and all factors that contribute to the acquisition and performance of these telecommunication services is assessed. Possible alternatives to the currently proposed hybrid FH/direct sequence acquisition procedures are considered and compared relative to acquisition time, implementation complexity, operational reliability, and cost. The hybrid FH/direct sequence technique is analyzed and rejected in favor of a recommended approach which minimizes acquisition time and user transponder complexity while maximizing probability of acquisition and overall link reliability
