Este artigo apresenta alguns resultados da pesquisa realizada com Arqueologia Experimental sobre a tecnologia cerâmica Guarani, da área da Bacia Hidrográfica Inferior do Projeto Paranapanema (ProjPar), especificamente, com o acabamento plástico de superfície externa. Os testes experimentais permitiram avaliar algumas das capacidades cognitivas que envolvem o trabalho do(a) ceramista, bem como demonstrar aspectos da técnica de confecção da cerâmica relacionados com as escolhas dos indivíduos.This article presents some results of research performed with ExperimentalArchaeology on ceramic technology Guarani, the area of the LowerWatershed Project Paranapanema (ProjPar), specifically, the plastic finish outersurface. CACHIMBO GUARANI DO SÍTIO ARQUEOLÓGICO MACACO, ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO

 Os cachimbos em sítios arqueológicos guarani do Estado de São Paulo são raros e apresentam diferentes formas. São confeccionados em argila. O tipo de antiplástico utilizado em cachimbos pré-coloniais ainda foi pouco estudado. O cachimbo evidenciado no Sítio Arqueológico Macaco apresenta-se numa forma confeccionada por modelagem e acordelado. Chama atenção a decoração incisa presente em toda a sua superfície. Palavras-chave: guarani, cachimbo guarani, cerâmica guarani.   GUARANI PIPE MACACO ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE, STATE OF SAO PAULO   Abstract The guarani pipes in archaeological sites in the State of São Paulo are rare and have different forms. They are made out of clay. The type of anti-plastic used in pre-colonial have yet been little studied. The pipe shown in the Archaeological Site Macaco presents it is a form built by the technique of overlapping small ropes of clay superimposed on each other. O GRÉS, A CERÂMICA VIDRADA E OS VIDROS DOS SÍTIOS HISTÓRICOS ITATIBA E ITATIBA II

 O estudo de arqueologia nas áreas dos Sítios Arqueológicos Itatiba e Itatiba II tiveram por objetivo a obtenção de informações sobre os processos culturais, abrangendo as populações indígenas e as frentes pioneiras da sociedade brasileira, evidenciadas na cultura material contida nos registros arqueológicos, incorporando-os à memória regional e nacional e evitando as perdas dessas informações. O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar os resultados da pesquisa arqueológica realizada com o grés, a cerâmica vidrada e o vidro dos Sítios Itatiba e Itatiba II. Palavras-chave: sítio arqueológico histórico, patrimônio cultural, cerâmica histórica, lítico.   THE STONEWARE, THE CERAMIC GLASS AND GLASSES OF HISTORIC SITES ITATIBA AND ITATIBA II   Abstract: The study of archaeology in the areas of the Archaeological Sites Itatiba and Itatiba II has aimed to collect information on cultural processes, comprehending the Indian population and the pioneer groups of the Brazilian society shown by the cultural material contained in the archaeological records, and also incorporating them into the regional and national memories, in order to avoid the loss of such information. SÍTIO ARQUEOLÓGICO ROBERTO EKMAN SIMÕES

 Apresentamos neste artigo o Sítio Arqueológico Roberto Ekman Simões e a análise de sua indústria lítica. O sítio está localizado em área de terraço do Rio Paranapanema e apresentou apenas líticos lascados sobre seixo. Entre os utensílios deste sítio evidenciou-se ponta de projétil e raspador plano convexo. DAS RAÍZES DA PESQUISA ARQUEOLÓGICA A ARQUEOLOGIA PROCESSUAL: UM ESBOÇO GERAL

 Este artigo tem como objetivo fazer uma análise das vertentes teóricas Histórico-Cultural e Processual, apresentando as principais características de cada uma para discutir e entender como essas abordam a cultura material nos estudos arqueológicos. Dessa maneira, começaremos nosso estudo abordando as raízes da pesquisa arqueológica, na sequência, um pouco dos estudos científicos evolucionistas na arqueologia, até a sua consolidação como ciência na segunda metade do século XIX. Em seguida, abordaremos ao menos o fundamental sobre essas diferentes tendências teóricas na arqueologia. Devido à complexidade de assuntos e questões, apresentaremos e discutiremos apenas um estudo de caso para cada uma dessas vertentes. This way, we will begin our study addressing the roots of archaeological research, in sequence, a bit of scientific studies in evolutionary archaeology, until its consolidation as science in the second half of the 19th century. Then we will cover at least the basics about these different theoretical trends in archeology. VESTÍGIOS DA MEMÓRIA HISTÓRICA REGIONAL PAULISTA EVIDENCIADOS PELA ARQUEOLOGIA

 O resgate dos materiais evidenciados no Sítio Arqueológico Santa Rosa, localizado no Município de Paulistânia, SP (Brasil), teve por objetivo a obtenção de informações sobre as estruturas de dois fornos de carvão, uma casa de madeira identificada como paiol de milho, materiais construtivos de antiga casa demolida e um alicerce de antiga olaria. Eles foram encontrados na Fazenda do Macaco, também conhecida como Sítio São Jerônimo. A incorporação desse material à memória regional e local é relevante, dadas às características evidenciadas no sítio e as lacunas existentes na memória histórica regional. Palavras-Chave: Patrimônio; cultural; Arqueologia histórica.     Abstract The retrieval of the materials evidenced in Santa Rosa Archaeological Site, situated in Paulistânia City, state of São Paulo (Brazil), aimed to obtain information about the structures of two firewood ovens, a wooden house identified as a corn barn, construction materials of an old demolished house and a groundwork of an old pottery. They were all found on Macaco  Farm, also known as São Jerônimo Site. The incorporation of such materials is absolutely valuable to the regional and national memory, given the features evidenced in the site and the historical and regional memory gap. ALGUNS TRAÇOS INICIAIS DO ESTUDO: DA ARQUEOLOGIA COGNITIVA ÀS TENDÊNCIAS TEÓRICAS ATUAIS NA ARQUEOLOGIA

 Este artigo tem como objetivo fazer uma análise da Arqueologia Cognitiva às tendências teóricas atuais na Arqueologia, expondo as características mais notáveis de cada uma para discutir e entender como essas abordam a cultura material nos estudos arqueológicos. Sendo assim, começaremos nosso estudo esboçando a pesquisa da Arqueologia Cognitiva, na sequência, um pouco dos estudos científicos da Arqueologia Pós-Processual até os dias atuais. Em seguida, abordaremos ao menos o fundamental sobre essas diferentes tendências teóricas na arqueologia. Devido à complexidade de assuntos e questões, apresentaremos e discutiremos apenas um estudo de caso para cada uma dessas vertentes. ARQUEOLOGIA E EDUCAÇÃO PATRIMONIAL

Este artigo apresenta uma discussão, baseada em revisão literária, sobre a importância de se planejar e aplicar metodologias participativas que envolvam a comunidade, onde os estudos são realizados, e a comunidade científica, com o intuito de dar relevância científica e social às pesquisas desenvolvidas. Essas metodologias participativas são pensadas no âmbito de estudos arqueológicos e museológicos, com iniciativas de Educação Patrimonial junto à comunidade local. Nesse sentido, apresenta propostas participativas pensadas em estudos arqueológicos desenvolvidos, atualmente, na região do Vale do Paranapanema, lado paulista, no município de Iepê- SP. ARCHAEOLOGY AND EDUCATIONAL HERITAGE Abstract This article presents a discussion, based on literary revision, on the importance of planning and applying participative methodology and applying participative methodology that could involve the community where the studies were carried on, and also the scientific community, aiming at pointing out scientific and social relevance to the research developed. This participative methodology was thought over in the field of archaeological and museological studies, with the initiative of Educational Heritage within the local community. In this sense, it presents participative propositions thought over in archaeological studies, currently developed in the region of Paranapanema Valley, on São Paulo, side, in the County of Iepê, SP. Study of the ceramic of Alvorada archaeological site, region of Aguapeí River, State of São Paulo

O estudo da cerâmica do Sítio Arqueológico Alvorada, localizado no Município de Junqueirópolis, SP, teve por objetivo a obtenção de informações sobre a população indígena que ocupou a área. A incorporação dessas informações à memória regional e nacional é extremamente valiosa, dadas as características do sítio e as lacunas existentes na memória histórica regional. A cerâmica encontrada no Sítio Arqueológico Alvorada tem características da cerâmica Tupiguarani; verificamos, contudo, a presença de traços de outra tradição arqueológica, o que sugere alguma forma de contato entre os grupos dos troncos linguísticos tupi-guarani e Jê.The study of the ceramic of Alvorada archaeological site, situated in Junqueirópolis City, State of São Paulo, aimed at getting information about indigenous population that occupied the area. Due to the characteristics of the site and the gaps existent in the regional and historical memory, the incorporation of this information is extremely valuable to the regional and national memory. The ceramic found at Alvorada Archaeological Site has characteristics of Tupiguarani ceramic, although we have found traces of another archaeological tradition, which implies contact between peoples that speak either tupiguarani and Jê language or their derivations
