AdS black holes with higher derivative corrections in presence of string cloud

We consider asymptotically AdS black hole solutions in presence of string clouds and higher derivative corrections. We find that it admits three black hole solutions within a region of the parameter space. In order to examine the stabilities of these solutions we consider a thermodynamic analysis. Using holography, we have studied the quark-antiquark distance and binding energy in the dual gauge theory.Comment: 25 pages, 27 figures, LaTe

Challenges in Diagnosis and Management of Skull Base Osteomyelitis: A Case Series

Background and Importance: Skull base osteomyelitis (SBO) is a complex disease process often confused with malignancy due to clinical and radiological masquerade. Extensive changes have recently occurred in the clinical course and management of the disease, attributed to improvements in neurosurgical procedures, diagnostic modalities, and the introduction of new antibiotics and management techniques thus reducing the associated morbidities and mortalities. However, SBO continues to pose a major challenge in the form of early diagnosis and management and can be the cause of devastating complications and high fatality associated with the disease. Case Presentation: Here we provide the clinical profile, investigation, management, and outcome of 5 cases of SBO, all of whom were thoroughly examined for the neurological deficit, complete blood count, inflammatory markers, and radiographic imaging. Biopsy and microbiological culture reports were collected and patients were followed up. Conclusion: Early diagnosis and culture-specific antibiotic treatment have been shown to provide good outcomes. Due to its rarity, large case series of SBO are insufficiently found in the literature

The birthplace of the novel Covid-19 sickness or COVID-19 began its spread around Wuhan city, China. The spread of this novel infection sickness began toward the start of December 2019. The Covid-19 illness spreads from one individual to another through hacking, sniffling, etc. To stop the spreading of the novel Covid-19 infection the distinctive nation has presented diverse strategies. Some regularly utilized methods are lockdown, night curfew, etc. The fundamental intention of the systems was to stop the social events and leaving homes without serious issues. Utilizing a diverse system Covid-19 first stage can address for saving individuals. Presently the second influx of this novel Covid illness has begun its top from the mid of April-May. The second convergence of this novel Covid disorder flooded all through the world and in India too. To stop the spread of this novel Covid sickness India's richest state Maharashtra government constrained the decision of night curfew. In this paper, we are taking as a relevant examination the night curfew on a schedule of Maharashtra. Here, we study that this system may or may not be able to stop the spread of pandemics. We are using the Machine learning(ML) approach to managing regulate study this case. ML has various systems yet among all of those here we use Linear Regression for the current circumstance. The reproduced insight that readies the plan orchestrated to learn with no other person. Linear Regression is the affirmed strategy for looking over the connection between two sections. Between the two segments, one is astute and another is a seen variable

Phase transitions in higher derivative gravity and gauge theory: R-charged black holes

This is a continuation of our earlier work where we constructed a phenomenologically motivated effective action of the boundary gauge theory at finite temperature and finite gauge coupling on S3×S1S^3 \times S^1. In this paper, we argue that this effective action qualitatively reproduces the gauge theory representing various bulk phases of R-charged black hole with Gauss-Bonnet correction. We analyze the system both in canonical and grand canonical ensemble.Comment: 36 pages, 16 figures; v2: typos corrected, references adde

A note on matrix model with IR cutoff and AdS/CFT

We propose an effective model of strongly coupled gauge theory at finite temperature on R3R^3 in the presence of an infrared cutoff. It is constructed by considering the theory on S3S^3 with an infrared cutoff and then taking the size of the S3S^3 to infinity while keeping the cutoff fixed. This model reproduces various qualitative features expected from its gravity dual.Comment: 27 pages, 9 figures, an appendix added, other minor changes, journal versio

This article has no abstract. The first 100 words appear below: A 3 year old girl, 3rd issue of consanguineous parents from the Feni District (south part of Bangladesh) immunized as per EPI schedule presented at the outpatient department with the history of progressive abdominal distension and not growing well since birth. She had also the history of developmental delay and recurrent respiratory tract infection. Still she can not stand without the support and unable to make a sentence completely. Her brother died at 5 months of age with abdominal distention with unknown cause. She had no history of jaundice, hematemesis, melena, convulsion and craving for food

This paper deals with black holes, bubbles and orbifolds in Gauss-Bonnet theory in five dimensional anti de Sitter space. In particular, we study stable, unstable and metastable phases of black holes from thermodynamical perspective. By comparing bubble and orbifold geometries, we analyse associated instabilities. Assuming AdS/CFT correspondence, we discuss the effects of this higher derivative bulk coupling on a specific matrix model near the critical points of the boundary gauge theory at finite temperature. Finally, we propose another phenomenological model on the boundary which mimics various phases of the bulk space-time.Comment: 33 pages, 12 figures, LaTeX, typos corrected, clarifications in sections 5 and 6, references adde

Risk portfolio on modern finance has become increasingly technical, requiring the use of sophisticated mathematical tools in both research and practice. Since companies cannot insure themselves completely against risk, as human incompetence in predicting the future precisely that written in Al-Quran surah Luqman verse 34, they have to manage it to yield an optimal portfolio. The objective here is to minimize the variance among all portfolios, or alternatively, to maximize expected return among all portfolios that has at least a certain expected return. Furthermore, this study focuses on optimizing risk portfolio so called Markowitz MVO (Mean-Variance Optimization). Some theoretical frameworks for analysis are arithmetic mean, geometric mean, variance, covariance, linear programming, and quadratic programming. Moreover, finding a minimum variance portfolio produces a convex quadratic programming, that is minimizing the objective function ðð¥with constraintsð ð 𥠥 ðandð´ð¥ = ð. The outcome of this research is the solution of optimal risk portofolio in some investments that could be finished smoothly using MATLAB R2007b software together with its graphic analysis
