    Efektivitas Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Fisika SMA Berbasis Science Environment Technology and Social (SETS)

    The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of Physics learning equipments based on the Science Environment Technology and Social Approach (SETS). Learning with the SETS approach is expected to encourage students to understand the concepts of physics well, which can be applied in everyday life. This research uses McKenny's model which consists of preliminary, prototyping stage, and assessment stage. To see the effectiveness of the learning device is done at the assessment stage. At the assessment stage, three assessments are carried out, namely, attitude assessment, knowledge assessment, and skills assessment. The attitude and skills assessment was carried out by two observers by completing the observation questionnaire. Knowledge assessment is done by giving physics questions that have been validated by experts to students. This assessment is carried out in stages and each meeting is held in class by the observer. The results of this study indicate that high school physics learning equipments based on Science Environment technology and Social are in the category of very effective so it is feasible to be applied in the learning process

    The scientific revolution is a replacement of the old paradigm to a new paradigm. According to Khun, the key to revolution regarding scientific paradigms is the approach or method taken by scientists in solving scientific problems. One of the paradigms in science is the development of the physics branch of Optics. Optics is the study of the properties of light in a material. This research is a literature study on optics material. The literature is taken from several books and journals related to the research conducted. Based on the search results, it is known that the Scientific Revolution in optics consists of 4 (four) periods. The first period was marked by the discovery of an optical lens. In this first period the opinion of scientists was not accompanied by experiments. The second period scientists have conducted experiments to support the theories put forward. One of the natural phenomena that scientists observed during this period was the rainbow. The third period is the shortest period in the history of the development of optics. In this period Thomas Young explained the concept of light being able to bend which was previously unanswered by Newton's emission theory. The fourth period is the period of modern optics, where the photoelectric effect and fiber optics have been discovere

    Perancangan Spin Coater Menggunakan Motor DC Brushless Dari Hardisk Bekas

    The building of  low voltage and cost of spin coater using DC brushless motor from the old hard disk drivers has been carried out. The spin speed of spin coater offers manual control using potensiometer. The equipment consist of the simple hardware: IC timer 555, IC shift register SIPO 74LS164, IC driver L293D, microcontroller AT889S52, LCD and then motor speed detector using a couple of photodiode and LED and using IC Schmitt trigger inverter 74LS14 as the amplifier of the sensor. The data analysis result showed that the speed up spin of  the spin coater depend on the signal frequency from multivibrator. The equipment has spin speed stability with speed range from 180 rpm until 2460 rpm. Spin coater to be tested for applications where a glass slide microscope are coated with TiO2 (Titanium Dioksida) about varies speed and show that coating result can be fliemsier with addition of speed spin the spin coater

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Media Pembelajaran Fisika Berbasis Konsep Kartun terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif dan Keterampilan Komunikasi Peserta Didik yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Berpikir kreatif dan komunikasi merupakan keterampilan Abad 21 yang harus dimiliki peserta didik saat ini. Media pembelajaran berbasis konsep kartun dapat menarik minat peserta didik untuk mempelajari materi Fisika. Sehingga mampu mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan berkomunikasi peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R & D) dengan menggunakan model plomp yang meliputi tiga tahapan pengembangan yaitu: penelitian pendahuluan (Preliminary research), fase pengembangan atau prototipe (Development of prototype Phase), dan fase penilaian (Assesment phase). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis konsep kartun sangat valid dengan skor rata-rata 86,5% dengan presantasi uji kelayakan isi 87,5%, kelayakan bahasa 90%, dan kelayakan konstruksi 80%. Uji kepraktisan produk oleh 2 orang pendidik mendapatkan rata-rata 90% dan peserta didik 88,5%. Sedangkan keefektifan produk dikategorikan sangat efektif dengan rata-rata 83,76% untuk soal tes pada keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan 85,6% untuk hasil observasi pada keterampilan komunikasi. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Fisika berbasis konsep kartun terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan komunikasi peserta didik dengan kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif

    Penggunaan PhET Simulasi pada Model Blended Learning dengan Facebook (MBL-Fb) terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains Peserta Didik Fisika SMA/MA

    Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat penggunaan PhET simulasi pada pembelajaran fisika yang diajarkan dengan MBL-Fb terhadap KPS peserta didik di SMA. Metode penelitian menggunakan counterbalance design. Populasi seluruh kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 VII Koto Sungai Sarik tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Sampel penelitian kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Cluster Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi untuk melihat proses KPS dalam pembelajaran, dan tes essay untuk melihat capaian KPS siswa di akhir pembelajaran. Analisis data hasil observasi menggunakan statistik deskriptif, sedangkan data hasil tes untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t Two-Sample Assuming Equal Variances berbantuan SPSS 25. Berdasarkan hasil observasi menunjukkan kelas MBL-fb yang menggunakan PhET simulasi memperoleh capain KPS yang lebih baik dibandingkan kelas MBL-fb tanpa PhET simulasi. Rata-rata hasil tes KPS peserta didik dengan PhET Simulasi memperoleh nilai 72,24 sedangkan untuk yang tidak memakai phet simulai memperoleh nilai 66,55. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji t:Two-Sample Assuming Equal Variances diperoleh nilai thitung 2,25 dan ttabel 1,67. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa, penggunaan PhET simulasi pada pembelajaran dengan MBL-fb memberikan capaian KPS peserta didik yang lebih baik pada pembelajaran fisika terutama pada materi elastisitas dan hukum hooke dan fluida statis.     Integrasi Al-Quran dan Sains sebagai Ciri Khas Madrasah: Sebuah Persepsi Guru IPA Madrasah Tsanawiyah

    The integration of the Qur'an and science is one of the characteristics of madrasah. However, there are differences of opinion among teachers about the obligation to carry out science learning that is integrated with the Qur'an. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research on how teachers perceive the integration of the Qur'an and science in learning. This study uses a quantitavie approach. The data collection method was through the survey by giving questionnaires to teachers who are members of the MGMP IPA MTs throughout the city of Padang. Of the 50 teachers who are members of the MGMP there are 47 teachers who fill out the questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results of this study indicate that the majority of teachers agree that the form of the relationship between science and the Koran is integrated. However, in implementing the integration of Al-Quran and Science, it should not only be the responsibility of the science teacher, but also the role of the religious teacher. Teachers also feel the need to take part in various trainings in order to be able to carry out science learning that is integrated with the Qur'an properly.Integrasi Al-Qur’an dan Sains merupakan salah satu ciri khas Madrasah. Namun, terdapat perbedaan pendapat di kalangan guru tentang kewajiban melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA yang terintegrasi dengan Al-Qur'an. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang bagaimana persepsi guru tentang integrasi Al-Qur'an dan Sains dalam pembelajaran, khususnya dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei dengan memberikan angket kepada guru-guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPA MTs se-Kota Padang. Dari 50 guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP terdapat 47 guru yang mengisi angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan  sebagian besar guru setuju bahwa bentuk hubungan antara Sains dan Al-Qur'an adalah terintegrasi. Namun, dalam melaksanakan integrasi Al-Quran dan Sains, seharusnya tidak hanya menjadi tanggung jawab guru IPA, tetapi juga menjadi tanggungjawab guru Agama. Guru juga merasa perlu mengikuti berbagai pelatihan agar mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA yang terintegrasi dengan Al-Qur’an dengan baik

    Development of Electrical Measuring Instruments Practicum Modules Based on Science Process Skills for Physics Students

    This research aims to develop practicum modules based on science process skills. Science process skills are an approach to learning that is designed so that students can find facts and build concepts and theories. In this science process skill, students are trained to be involved in scientific activities and become independent individuals. The development model in this study is the 4D model. The research subjects were 39 third-semester students who had taken the course on electrical measuring instruments. The instruments in this study were validation sheets (to determine product validity) and student and lecturer response questionnaire sheets (to measure product practicability). The results showed that the product, in the form of a practicum module based on Science Process Skills, was both valid and practical. The module validity was in the very valid category, with an average score of 83.14%. The practicality test for using modules for students was very practical (83.3%). The lecturer response questionnaire was in the very practical category, with a percentage of 81.25%. So, this practicum module is valid and practical and can be used to train students' Science Process Skills, especially in the material of electrical measuring instruments
