Field-only integral equation method for time domain scattering of electromagnetic pulses
The scattering of electromagnetic pulses is described using a non-singular
boundary integral method to solve directly for the field components in the
frequency domain, and Fourier transform is then used to obtain the complete
space-time behavior. This approach is stable for wavelengths both small and
large relative to characteristic length scales. Amplitudes and phases of field
values can be obtained accurately on or near material boundaries. Local field
enhancement effects due to multiple scattering of interest to applications in

3DFusion, A real-time 3D object reconstruction pipeline based on streamed instance segmented data
This paper presents a real-time segmentation and reconstruction system that
utilizes RGB-D images to generate accurate and detailed individual 3D models of
objects within a captured scene. Leveraging state-of-the-art instance
segmentation techniques, the system performs pixel-level segmentation on RGB-D
data, effectively separating foreground objects from the background. The
segmented objects are then reconstructed into distinct 3D models in a
high-performance computation platform. The real-time 3D modelling can be
applied across various domains, including augmented/virtual reality, interior
design, urban planning, road assistance, security systems, and more. To achieve
real-time performance, the paper proposes a method that effectively samples
consecutive frames to reduce network load while ensuring reconstruction
quality. Additionally, a multi-process SLAM pipeline is adopted for parallel 3D
reconstruction, enabling efficient cutting of the clustering objects into
individuals. This system employs the industry-leading framework YOLO for
instance segmentation. To improve YOLO's performance and accuracy,
modifications were made to resolve duplicated or false detection of similar
objects, ensuring the reconstructed models align with the targets. Overall,
this work establishes a robust real-time system with a significant enhancement
for object segmentation and reconstruction in the indoor environment. It can
potentially be extended to the outdoor scenario, opening up numerous
opportunities for real-world applications
DEEPSORTING: CUSTOMER-CENTRIC SEQUENCE-TO-SEQUENCE NOTIFICATION PRIORITIZATION
Network operators may control many thousands of devices and, as a consequence, they may be bombarded with notifications (e.g., posture assessments and exceptions for devices that do not comply with standards or which require remediation actions to circumvent security issues) and can be discouraged by unimportant or irrelevant information. To address the challenge that was described above, techniques are presented herein that support a process for intelligently filtering and prioritizing notifications to reduce noise and deliver recommendations that will provide the greatest impact to an environment. Aspects of the presented techniques encompass a smart recommendation notification system that prioritizes network actions based on multiple embedding spaces and dimensions; the use of business and financial logic, a persona, and a network operating state for reducing network actions into a prioritized output; the use of click-through and sequence mining to establish a ground truth of event prioritization of a network operator; an adaptive learning method for tracking proposed network recommendations to the final action that may be executed by a network operator; and a method for reducing multi-step recommendations based on an identification of the most efficient sequence of events based on a network operator implementation
