    Computer Vision Syndrome is a group of eye problems related to computer USAge. The symptoms of CVS including the eye strain, headaches, blurred vision, dry and irritated eyes, red eyes, sore neck and back, eyes are too sensitive to light, and double vision. CVS can be caused by a variety of individual factors, work environment, and computer. The purpose of this research is to determine the factors associated with CVS on computer users in a car assembling company. This type of research is a quantitative study with cross sectional approach. Population in this research were computer users in a car assembling company that amounted to 74 people. Samples were choosen with the inclusion criteria (understood about Indonesian language, male, did not have history of diabetes and hypertension, were willing to be respondent, and not currently on leave) so that was conducted there were 41 people as respondents. Bivariate analysis results with Rank Spearman correlation indicate that there was a correlation between the long break after using the computer (p-value = 0,035), knowledge of CVS (p-value = 0,041), and local lighting intensity (p-value = 0,030), and there was no correlation between age (p-value = 0,481), the work of computer USAge (p-value = 0,269), the duration of use of the computer (p-value = 0,360), distance vision of computers (p-value = 0,206), and the point of view of the computer (p-value = 0,063). From the results of this research it could be concluded that there was a correlation between the long break after using computers, knowledge of CVS, and the intensity of the illumination with local complaints of CVS. Researchers suggest that the company should give the lighting intensity that complies with the standards, establish a policy of using maximum breaks, give knowledge about CVS. Advice for computer user to apply the rule of 20-20-20. As well as on other researchers to analyze other variables thought to be associated with complaints of CVS

    Workplace accidents are caused due to unsafe working behaviors (unsafe act), such as not wearing PPE, not follow work procedures , do not follow the safety rules and work are not careful. Number of cases of occupational accidents that occurred during the last three months commencing in 2012 was higher than the previous year at the same time. The number of workplace accidents caused by unsafe behavior, the purpose of this research to study the behavior of safety in the operation of the printing machine workers at PT Masscom Graphy. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with indepth interviews. The subjects of this study were 3 people as key informants and triangulated 2 people as informants . The results showed that the K3 has a good knowledge . Attitude of key informants did not agree with the checklist form filling obligations, as well as the availability of safety PPE are still lacking. Perceptions of supervisor existence has no influence on the main informant in the practice of K3. From this study the behavior of key informants explained that in practice it does not ignore this aspect of the form K3 wear personal protective equipment, do not fill in a checklist form that corresponds to the work performed, as well as the availability of PPE that is still in the stage of procurement. The company is expected to facilitate trade with PPE

    HIRA is one of many risk valuation methods that can be used to value which hazard is able to provoke the biggest risk. Its done by considering the probability and the impact. Tahu Serasi Bandungan Baru Industri is one of many informal sector industries having hazard potential to the work environment and work process. This researchs purpose is to identify hazard potential, risk assessment , describe current hazard control and recommend hazard control means to decrease work accident risk. This research is done in two location of Tahu Serasi Bandungan Baru production by using explanatory research with 14 respondents which consist of 12 main informant and 2 triangulation informant. In detail, each location has 6 main informant and 1 triangulation informant. Work process in this tofu industri is divided into two, odd section and milling section. Based on research some hazard potentials are learned. Those are cramp, slip, process tools wedge, process tools struck down, mold, hot soybean extract, combustion fumes, electric shock, noise and fire. Tahu Serasi Bandungan Baru Industri has done some hazard control means by giving break time and personal protective equipment to employees

    Universities are the main pillar in the education system that is as a supporter of qualified human resources (HR). Therefore, lecturers are important components that determine whether a higher education is developed in academics or not. The number of demands and responsibilities that the lecturers should take, plus the environmental conditions and other triggering factors if the lecturers cannot adapt themselves then this will give pressure to the lecturers which will cause stress. The purpose of this research is to know the existence of the relation between mental workload and work stress of lecturers at Faculty, X University. This research used Cross Sectional design. The population is the lecturers in Faculty X, X University in Semarang. The sample taking was done by total sampling technique, the sample in the research was 50 respondents. The independent variable is mental workload and the dependent variable is work stress. Data were collected by using a General Health Questationary (GHQ) -12 questionnaire to measure the work stress, while to measure the mental workload, it used questionnaires referring to NASA-TLX. The data obtained were analyzed by using Product Moment Pearson statistic test with the significance level of p = 0,05. The results showed that there is a relation between workload and work stress (ρ value: 0.25). The researcher suggested the Faculty to do mapping for lecturers' workload in order to make it more structured

    Noise is kind of unwanted sounds that coming from working tools which at certain level could cause physical disturbance as well as psychology. Job stress is job stressor which causing Individual reaction such as physiological, psychological, behavior reaction. Based on the result of problem identification at Kokapura Ahmad yani, it is known that 13 workers were out or turn over since March until May 2016 which considered as many. the amount of responsibility that carry by porter on handling passenger's baggage every day and the amount of noise that considered beyond the limit that assign by regulation are two things that quite possibly causing stress in ground handling porter. The purpose of this research is to analyze the connection between noise and stress job in ground handling porter at Kokapura Ahmad Yani Semarang. Type of research that use is explanatory with cross sectional as it approach. The amount of population in this research is 49 peoples. The amount of sample that uses is 41 peoples. Based on statistical test that uses rank spearman test, it is obtain p value as much as 0,035 which shown there is connection between noise and job stress. Researcher advising the company to socialize working guide that safer for porter, and also preparing PPE that appropriate to handle noises and do working time rotation between porter and make up porter
