QPO Evolution in 2005 Outburst of the Galactic Nano Quasar GRO J1655-40
GRO J1655-40 showed significant X-ray activity in the last week of February,
2005 and remained active for the next 260 days. The rising and the decline
phases of this particular outburst show evidence for systematic movements of
the Comptonizing region, assumed to be a CENBOL, which causes the
Quasi-periodic Oscillations or QPOs. We present both the spectral and the
timing results of the RXTE/PCA data taken from these two hard spectral states.
Assuming that the QPOs originate from an oscillating shock CENBOL, we show how
the shock slowly moves in through the accretion flow during the rising phase at
a constant velocity and accelerate away outward during the later part of the
decline phase. By fitting the observed frequencies with our solution, we
extract time variation of various disk parameters such as the shock locations,

Gravitational collapse due to dark matter and dark energy in the brane world scenario
Gravitational collapse of FRW brane world embedded in a conformaly flat bulk
is considered for matter cloud consists of dark matter and dark energy with
equation of state . The effect of dark
matter and dark energy is being considered first separately and then a
combination of them both with and without interaction. In some cases the

Instruments of RT-2 Experiment onboard CORONAS-PHOTON and their test and evaluation V: Onboard software, Data Structure, Telemetry and Telecommand
The onboard software and data communication in the RT-2 Experiment onboard
the Coronas-Photon satellite is organized in a hierarchical way to effectively
handle and communicate asynchronous data generated by the X-ray detectors. A
flexible data handling system is organized in the X-ray detector packages
themselves and the processing electronic device, namely RT-2/E, has the
necessary intelligence to communicate with the 3 scientific payloads by issuing
commands and receiving data. It has direct interfacing with the Satellite
systems and issues commands to the detectors and processes the detector data
before sending to the satellite systems. The onboard software is configured
with several novel features like a) device independent communication scheme, b)
loss-less data compression and c) Digital Signal Processor. Functionality of
the onboard software along with the data structure, command structure, complex

Naked Singularities in Higher Dimensional Szekeres Space-time
In this paper we study the quasi-spherical gravitational collapse of (n+2)
dimensional Szekeres space-time. The nature of the central shell focusing
singularity so formed is analyzed by studying both the radial null and
time-like geodesic originated from it. We follow the approach of Barve et al to

Instruments of RT-2 Experiment onboard CORONAS-PHOTON and their test and evaluation II: RT-2/CZT payload
Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) detectors are high sensitivity and high
resolution devices for hard X-ray imaging and spectroscopic studies. The new
series of CZT detector modules (OMS40G256) manufactured by Orbotech Medical
Solutions (OMS), Israel, are used in the RT-2/CZT payload onboard the
CORONAS-PHOTON satellite. The CZT detectors, sensitive in the energy range of
20 keV to 150 keV, are used to image solar flares in hard X-rays. Since these
modules are essentially manufactured for commercial applications, we have
carried out a series of comprehensive tests on these modules so that they can
be confidently used in space-borne systems. These tests lead us to select the
best three pieces of the 'Gold' modules for the RT-2/CZT payload. This paper
presents the characterization of CZT modules and the criteria followed for
selecting the ones for the RT-2/CZT payload. The RT-2/CZT payload carries,
along with three CZT modules, a high spatial resolution CMOS detector for high
resolution imaging of transient X-ray events. Therefore, we discuss the

Collapse Dynamics of a Star of Dark Matter and Dark Energy
In this work, we study the collapse dynamics of an inhomogeneous spherically
symmetric star made of dark matter (DM) and dark energy (DE). The dark matter
is taken in the form of a dust cloud while anisotropic fluid is chosen as the
candidate for dark energy. It is investigated how dark energy modifies the
collapsing process and is examined whether dark energy has any effect on the
Cosmic Censorship Conjecture. The collapsing star is assumed to be of finite
radius and the space time is divided into three distinct regions and
, where represents the boundary of the star and
denotes the interior (exterior) of the star. The junction
conditions for matching over are specified. Role of Dark
energy in the formation of apparent horizon is studied and central singularity

Numerical Investigation of Detonation Combustion Wave in Pulse Detonation Combustor with Ejector
Detonation combustion based engines are more efficient compared to conventional deflagration based engines. Pulse detonation engine is the new concept in propulsion technology for future propulsion system. In this contrast, an ejector was used to modify the detonation wave propagation structure in pulse detonation engine combustor. In this paper k-ε turbulence model was used for detonation wave shock pattern simulation in PDE with ejectors at Ansys 14 Fluent platform. The unsteady Euler equation was used to simulate the physics of detonation wave initiation in detonation tube. The computational simulations predicted the detonation wave flow field structure, combustion wave interactions and maximum thrust augmentation in supersonic condition with ejectors at time step of 0.034s. The ejector enhances the detonation wave velocity which reaches up to 2226 m/s in detonation tube at same time step, which is near about C-J velocity. Further the time averaged detonation wave pressure, temperature, wave velocity and vortex characteristics interaction are obtained with short duration of 0.023s and fully developed detonation wave structures are in good agreement with experimental shadowgraph, which are cited from previous experimental research work
RT-2 Detection of Quasi-Periodic Pulsations in the 2009 July 5 Solar Hard X-ray Flare
We present the results of an analysis of hard X-ray observations of the C2.7
solar flare detected by the RT-2 Experiment onboard the Coronas - Photon
satellite. We detect hard X-ray pulsations at periods of ~12 s and ~15 s. We
find a marginal evidence for a decrease in period with time. We have augmented
these results using the publicly available data from the RHESSI satellite. We

Levy stable distributions via associated integral transform
We present a method of generation of exact and explicit forms of one-sided,
heavy-tailed Levy stable probability distributions g_{\alpha}(x), 0 \leq x <
\infty, 0 < \alpha < 1. We demonstrate that the knowledge of one such a
distribution g_{\alpha}(x) suffices to obtain exactly g_{\alpha^{p}}(x), p=2,
3,... Similarly, from known g_{\alpha}(x) and g_{\beta}(x), 0 < \alpha, \beta <
1, we obtain g_{\alpha \beta}(x). The method is based on the construction of
the integral operator, called Levy transform, which implements the above
operations. For \alpha rational, \alpha = l/k with l < k, we reproduce in this
manner many of the recently obtained exact results for g_{l/k}(x). This
approach can be also recast as an application of the Efros theorem for
generalized Laplace convolutions. It relies solely on efficient definite
