Dynamical System Analysis of Interacting Hessence Dark Energy in f(T)f(T) Gravity

In this work, we have carried on dynamical system analysis of hessence field coupling with dark matter in f(T)f(T) gravity. We have analysed the critical points due to autonomous system. The resulting autonomous system is non-linear. So, we have approached via the the theory of non-linear dynamical system. We have noticed very few papers are devoted to this kind of study.Maximum works in literature are done treating the dynamical system as done in linear dynamical analysis, which are unable to predict correct evolution. Our work is totally different from those kind of works. We have used theory of non-linear dynamical system theory, developed till date,in our analysis. This approach gives totally different stable solutions, in contrast what the linear analysis would have predicted. We have discussed the stability analysis in details due to exponential potential through computational method in tabular form and analyzed the evolution of the universe. Some plots are drawn to investigate the behaviour of the system (this plotting technique is different from usual phase plot, and devised by us.). Interestingly, the analysis shows the universe may resemble the `cosmological constant' like evolution (i.e., Λ\LambdaCDM model is a subset of the solution set). Also, all the fixed points of our model are able to avoid Big rip singularity.Comment: 20 pages, Accepted in AHE

Putative Role of Ethanolic Extract of Vernonia cinerea in the Amelioration of Chemotherapy Induced Neuropathic Pain in Mice

Cancer chemotherapy is associated with a plethora of morbidities among which neuropathic pain is another one. The pathology underpinning chemotherapy induced neuropathic pain can be multifarious, however, dearth of effective medication largely plagues the quality of life of such patients. A good rationale can be found behind narrowing down on herbal alternatives namely methanolic extracts of Vernonia cinerea for which anti-cancer potential has already been reported. Hence we have carried out a pilot study for evaluating the protective potential of the methanolic extract of the plant against paclitaxel induced neuropathic pain in mice. Our evaluation has been based on standard paradigms focusing on neuromotor, oxidative and histopathological assessments and TNF α Assessment. We have found significant improvisation in groups treated with both pregabalin and extract, the amelioration being largely graded in nature. Hence our research has opened up the doors of a newer horizon of herbal alternatives available for chemotherapy induced neuropathic pain, however further look out into the domain is avidly awaited for. Bilateral floating knee: a rare case report with review of literature

Floating knee injuries are commonly seen nowadays due to increase in road traffic accidents. However, bilateral presentation of floating knee is a rare injury and challenging to orthopaedicians for a good functional outcome. We hereby present a rare case of bilateral floating knee injury in a 45 year old male treated with open reduction and internal fixation in a staged procedure. Functional assessment was done using modified Karlstrom-Olerud criteria which showed excellent outcome. Union was achieved in approximately 7 months. Decreased knee movements over left side as compared to right side was only complication seen

Retropharmacology of Gliptins: A Focus on Inflammatory Bowel Disease

    Get PDF
As we know inflammatory bowel disease is an emergent plight in developed & developing countries. IBD is an idiopathic ulceroinflammatory condition of the bowel which may or may not have transmural stretch. IBD has two clinic pathological condition Ulcerative colitis & Crohns’s disease. In United State of America there are 1.4 million of people suffering from Ulcerative colitis. IBD has a plethora of comorbid disorders .Gastrointestinal disorder arising from cholelithiasis, cutaneous disease arising from psoriasis & metabolic disorders arising from diabetes mellitus. DPP4 which is instrumental in aggravating diabetes mellitus gets hiked in IBD too , which may have serious implications in the worsening of the latter in diabetes . Hence, in our research we probed for the anticolitic potential of a standard inhibitor of DPP4, Linagliptin to ensure the enzymes suitability as a probable target for IBD. Fracture of neck of femur with fracture of posterior column of acetabulum: a rare case of floating hip

    Get PDF
Injuries around the hip joint are one of the most common orthopedic injuries and these types of injuries are grossly debilitating until treated properly. Simultaneous occurrence of fracture of proximal femur with fracture of ipsilateral acetabulum or pelvis is termed as floating hip injury. These injuries are very rare, only to be found 1 in 10,000 as well as there is lack of literature support regarding proper treatment protocol. Here we are going to present a case of fracture of neck of left femur along with fracture of left acetabulum in a 45 years old male undergone road traffic accident.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Diabetes: An Association in Horizon

As we know inflammatory bowel disease is an emergent plight in rural and developing countries. In USA 10 million of peoples are suffering from IBD.IBD encompasses two pivotal kinds of pathological condition Ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD). Epidemiologically has a greater prevalence in the global prospective. So we decided to zero in on IBD in our work ahead. So a thorough search of available literature IBD is associated with plethora of comorbid disorders which includes gastrointestinal disorders arising from cholelithiasis, cutaneous disease like psoriasis, metabolic disorders like diabetes mellitus. Necrotizing fasciitis caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa: a rare case report and recent concepts in diagnosis and management

    Get PDF
Necrotizing fasciitis caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an extremely rare and life threatening bacterial soft tissue infection. Here we report a case study of fully established necrotizing fasciitis associated with monomicrobial pseudomonas infection in a 34 years old male. The patient presented with painful, necrosed areas of skin and soft tissue over right gluteal region which rapidly progressed to right upper back. Aggressive supportive measures and early debridement lead to a full recovery with no functional deficits
