The computer modeling in the quantum mechanics

    No full text
One of the most remarkable consequences of development of the computer technologies is their applications into fundamental physics experiments. Graphical visualization is sometimes the only method to observe processes which happens in the experiments. Quantum mechanics describes strange phenomena far beyond the realm of everyday experience. The quantum mechanics represents a set of theories of the physics, describing microparticles and their interactions. These models are essentially different from our usual, classical model of the world. With the help of visualization techniques greatly possibilities of the understanding of quantum mechanics phenomena has been appeared.[...]Fizikos institutasFizikos katedraVytauto Didžiojo universitetasŠiaulių universiteta

    Visualizing of atomic orbitals

    No full text
The probability of the electron charge cloud in an atom, namely the atomic orbital, often reveals crucial information in atomic physics. Visual representation of such orbitals is invaluable to researchers working and teaching atomic structures to physics. Atomic orbitals are also important for a general understanding of molecular bonding. However, it is often difficult to fully understand and visualize these orbitals by just looking at an equation or at a printed picture in a text book. The greater insight can be gained, when all aspects from the equation to the actual graphical representation, can be manipulated.[...]Fizikos institutasFizikos katedraVytauto Didžiojo universitetasŠiaulių universiteta

Mass-ratio parameters expressions for binary clasters of identical fermion systems

    No full text
In this contribution, we present the explicit expressions of mass-ratio parameters for binary clasters composed of n(1), and n(2) particles which can be used developing efficient techniques for large-scale calculations of the coefficients of fractional parentage (CFP) for systems consisting of n = n(1) + n(2) identical fermionsFizikos katedraFizinių ir technologijos mokslų centro Fizikos institutasVytauto Didžiojo universiteta

Four-particle harmonic-oscillator transformation brackets : expression and fortran

    No full text
The wave function of a self-bound system in absence of external fields must be invariant in respect of spatial translations and antisymmetric respect of all permutations. Translational invariance of wave function means that it is dependent only on instrinsic degrees of freedom of the system. The traditional applications, such as the nuclear shell model, however, are based on a model Hamiltonian with individual one-particle variables. That wave functions are very attractive because they allow a simple procedure of antisymmetrization.[...]Fizikos institutasFizikos katedraVytauto Didžiojo universiteta

Four particle harmonic-oscillator transformation brackets and their simplifications for special values of the mass-ratio parameters

    No full text
We present a new independent scheme of SO(3) group transformations suitable for the N particle system, composed of N − 1 and 1 particle subsystems, where N − 1 particles have their own intrinsic clusterization. The simple expressions for corresponding four-particle harmonic-oscillator transformation brackets are presented, as well as their simplifications for the special values of mass ratio parameters d = 0, d → ∞ and d 1 = 0, d 1 → ∞Fizikos institutasFizikos katedraVytauto Didžiojo universiteta
