Efektivitas Strategi Polri Dalam Pemberantasan Kejahatan Siber Melalui Asean Ministerial Meeting On Transnational Crime (AMMTC)
Dewasa ini, angka kejahatan siber semakin meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan digital Indonesia. Ada urgensi yang meningkat di antara lembaga pemerintah Indonesia untuk memberantas kejahatan siber. Upaya tersebut meliputi strategi nasional keamanan siber, serta mengambil bagian dalam kerja sama regional ASEAN, khususnya lewat forum ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC). Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas kinerja POLRI di AMMTC dalam memerangi kejahatan siber yang masih menggangu bangsa. Melalui pengukuran Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI), upaya tersebut kemudian dibandingkan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif pertahanan siber Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kejahatan transnasional, kejahatan siber, keamanan kooperatif dan organisasi regional. Metode penelitian yang dipakai ialah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan turunan metode studi kasus dan tipe deskriptif analisis. Dengan data primer berupa wawancara dengan dua narasumber dan data sekunder yang mengambil berbagai sumber terkait, penelitian mencapai triangulasi data. Penelitian akhir menunjukkan meskipun Indonesia lebih lambat dalam menangani kasus kejahatan siber, efektivitas pendekatan POLRI dalam skala nasional dan regional mulai terlihat./ In these day and age, cybercrime is increasing along with digital growth in
Indonesia. There has been a heightened urgency among Indonesian government
agencies to eradicate cybercrime. These efforts include a national strategy for
cybersecurity, as well as taking part in regional cooperation, such as AMMTC. This
paper examines the effectiveness of INP’s performance in AMMTC to combat the
nation’s cybercrime. Through the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI), these efforts
are then compared to find out how effective Indonesia’s cyber defense is. This study
use transnational crime, cybercrime, cooperative security and regional
organization approaches. The research method used in this study is a qualitative
research method, with a case study method as a derivative and an analysis
descriptive research type. With primary data in the form of interviews with two
sources and secondary data that took various related sources, the research reached
triangulation of data. This study shows although Indonesia was slower in regard to
handling cyber crime cases, the effectiveness of INP’s approach on a national and
regional scale is starting to look up.

The Effectiveness of Indonesian National Police Strategy in Cybercrime Eradication through ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC)

These efforts include a national cybersecurity strategy and taking part in regional cooperation, such as AMMTC. This paper examines the effectiveness of the Indonesian National Police (INP)’s strategy in AMMTC to combat the nation’s cybercrime. By looking at the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI), this article elaborates on whether the INP’s approach effectively counters cybercrime in Indonesia. This study utilizes transnational crime, cybercrime, cooperative security, and regional organization concepts. It conducts a qualitative research method with a case study approach as a derivative and an analysis descriptive research type. With primary data in the form of interviews with two sources and secondary data that took various related sources, the research conducts triangulation of data.
