DEVELOPMENT OF AN ELECTRONIC PUBLIC COMPLAINTS SYSTEM TO IMPROVE PUBLIC SERVICES

Public complaints are essential for the government to see how successful it is in carrying out activities. Public complaints are an essential element for local agencies because complaints are aimed at correcting the shortcomings of the activities that have been carried out. The absence of an electronic complaint system will hamper the complaint reporting process, so repairing deficiencies in government agencies will be hampered. The delay in repairing deficiencies in the agency will, of course, also affect the services provided to the community. The government can certainly use technology development to improve public services from the government to the community. This study discusses the development of an online-based public complaint system with the website-based Extreme Programming (XP) method that the public can access so that complaint reports can be submitted in real-time. The results of testing the complaint system from the usability side show an average value of 88.7% in the excellent category, so the application is feasible to use and as needed

Pengaruh Kreativitas Guru terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Kelas X di SMA

This thesis entitled The influence of teachers\u27 creativity on learning outcomes of students in the class of economic subjects X in Taman Mulia Kab. Kubu Raya school year 2013-2014. The problem of this study is (1) How creativity on economic subjects teacher class X in SMA Taman Mulia Kab. Kubu Raya? (2) How the learning outcomes of students in a class of economic subjects X in SMA Taman Mulia Kab. Kubu Raya? (3) Is there a teacher\u27s creativity influence on learning outcomes of students in the class of economic subjects X in SMA Taman Mulia Kab. Kubu Raya? Descriptive research methods were used, while the form of research studies the relationship. The sample was students SMA Taman Mulia as much as 34 student. From the research, there is the influence of the independent variables (X) the dependent variable (Y) which is the show in equation Y= 79,283+0,056X and test hypothesis test t count> t table or 4,727>2,037. The magnitude of the effect of the coefficient of determination of test results with SPSS 16 is equal to 25% while the rest is influenced by other factors

PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN, KARAKTERISTIK INDIVIDU DAN KOMPENSASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN YAYASAN NURUL HAYAT KEDIRI

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mendeskripsikan gaya kepemimpinan, karakteristik individu, kompensasi dan  kinerja  karyawan, 2) Untuk  mendeskripsikan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, karakteristik individu, kompensasi secara simultan terhadap kinerja  karyawan, 3) Untuk  mendeskripsikan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, karakteristik individu, kompensasi secara parsial terhadap kinerja  karyawan, 4) Untuk menentukan variable yang paling dominan berpengaruh dari gaya kepemimpinan, karakteristik individu, dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan Yayasan Nurul Hayat Kediri. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Yayasan Nurul Hayat Kediri. Populasi yang digunakan sebanyak 30 orang. Metode penentuan  sampel yang digunakan  adalah total sampling/ sampling  jenuh,  sehingga  semua  populasi  digunakan  sebagai  sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif.  Metode pengumpulan data  dilakukan  melalui membagikan kuisioner, dan dokumentasi.  Alat analisis yang  digunakan  adalah teknik regresi linier berganda dengan uji hipotesis t tes dan uji hipotesis F tes . Hasil analisis dari uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis t tes dan uji hipotesis F tes menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan, karakteristik individu, dan kompensasi secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja  karyawan dengan presentase sebesar 62,1%. Dari hasil uji hipotesis t test menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan, karakteristik individu, dan kompensasi secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja  karyawan dengan karakteristik individu menjadi yang paling dominan dengan nilai koefisien beta sebesar 0, 501 diikuti oleh kompensasi dan yang terakhir adalah gaya kepemimpinan

How Trade and Investment Agreements Affect Bilateral Foreign Direct Investment: Results from a Structural Gravity Model

The paper develops a new stand-alone structural gravity model for explaining bilateral FDI patterns. We employ the model to analyse the impact of preferential trade agreements (PTAs), bilateral investment treaties (BITs) and other policies on bilateral foreign direct investment (FDI). We use the UNCTAD global database on bilateral FDI stocks and flows. To control for the heterogeneous nature of PTAs, we employ two different indicators of PTA depth. We find that on average signing a PTA increases bilateral FDI stocks by around 30%. Nevertheless, we also find that ‘deeper’ or comprehensive PTAs (e.g., including provisions on investment, public procurement and intellectual property rights provisions) do not have a significantly different impact than signing regular PTAs. Belonging to the EU single market, on the other hand, has a strong impact and increases bilateral FDI by around 135%, and signing a BIT has an effect that is comparable to signing a PTA
