In the title complex, [Cd(SO4)(C9H8N6)(H2O)4]·2H2O, the CdII ion is six-coordinated by one N atom from a 1-[(1H-1,2,3-benzotriazol-1-yl)methyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazole ligand and by five O atoms from four water molecules and one monodentate sulfate anion in a distorted octahedral geometry. The sulfate tetrahedron is rotationally disordered over two positions in a 0.651 (12):0.349 (12) ratio. In the crystal, adjacent molecules are linked through O—H⋯O and O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network

Src-family protein tyrosine kinases: a promising target for treating chronic pain

Abstract Despite growing knowledge of the mechanisms of chronic pain, it remains a major challenge facing clinical practice. Src-family protein tyrosine kinases (SFKs), a group of non-receptor protein tyrosine kinases, have been implicated in neuronal development and synaptic plasticity. SFKs are critically central to various transmembrane receptors e.g. G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR), EphB receptor (EphBR), increased intracellular calcium, epidermal growth factor (EGF) and other growth factors that regulate the phosphorylation of N-methyl-D-aspartic acid receptor (NMDAR) 2B subunit, thus contributing to the development of chronic pain. SFKs have also been regarded as an important point of convergence of intracellular signaling components that regulate microglia functions and the immune response. Additionally, intrathecal administration of SFKs inhibitors significantly alleviates mechanical allodynia in different chronic pain models. Thus, here we reviewed the current evidence of the role of SFKs in the development of chronic pain caused by complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) injection, peripheral nerve injury (PNI), streptozotocin (STZ) injection and bone metastasis. Moreover, the role of SFKs on the development of morphine tolerance has also been discussed. Management of SFKs therefore emerged as a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of chronic pain in terms of safety and efficacy. Quantitative trait locus (QTL) analysis of pod related traits in different environments in soybean

Soybean is an important crop, whose most agronomic traits are quantitative inherited. Mapping of these quantitative trait loci in soybean genes is importance for various applications. A F2:15 RIL population containing 149 lines derived from a cross between Charleston as female and Dongnong 594 as male parent were used for mapping of the QTL of pod related traits. Three agronomic traits showing clear phenotypic variations between parents were investigated and relevant QTLs were analyzed with software WindowsQTL Cartographer V2.5. The pod related traits are podwall thickness, weight of podwall, and ratio of podwall to pod (weight to weight). A total of 67 QTLs were mapped for 3 agronomic traits. Some QTLs identified under all environments tend to be valuable for soybean molecular marker assistant breeding selection.Key words: Soybean, pod traits, QTL, different environments

Kosterlitz-Thouless melting of magnetic order in the triangular quantum Ising material TmMgGaO4

Frustrated magnets hold the promise of material realizations of exotic phases of quantum matter, but direct comparisons of unbiased model calculations with experimental measurements remain very challenging. Here we design and implement a protocol of employing many-body computation methodologies for accurate model calculations-of both equilibrium and dynamical properties-for a frustrated rare-earth magnet TmMgGaO4 (TMGO), which explains the corresponding experimental findings. Our results confirm TMGO is an ideal realization of triangular-lattice Ising model with an intrinsic transverse field. The magnetic order of TMGO is predicted to melt through two successive Kosterlitz-Thouless (KT) phase transitions, with a floating KT phase in between. The dynamical spectra calculated suggest remnant images of a vanishing magnetic stripe order that represent vortex-antivortex pairs, resembling rotons in a superfluid helium film. TMGO therefore constitutes a rare quantum magnet for realizing KT physics, and we further propose experimental detection of its intriguing properties. TmMgGaO4 is one of a number of recently-synthesized quantum magnets that are proposed to realize important theoretical models. Here the authors demonstrate the agreement between detailed experimental measurements and state-of-the-art predictions based on the 2D transverse-field triangular lattice Ising model
