    Elastic Impedance (EI) inversion has been used to determine sandstone lithology distributions in “D” Field of Talang Akar Formation, North West Java Basin. The target zone was TAF-3-1 with depth 2780 m - 2805 m which located in Talang Akar Formation with litologies of sandstone and shale. Sensitivity analysis is method to separation of sandstone and shale lithology between Elastic Impedance log and Gamma Ray log crossplot at the angle 0º-30º. Analysis at seismic data is inversion result analysis on vertical and to knowning the value of Elastic Impedance and inversion result analysis on horizontal to knowing the direction of sandstone reservoir lithology. Result of Elastic Impedance inversion shows that sandstone reservoir lithology in target area TAF-3-1 layer have value of Elastic Impedance from 1314 g.m/cm3s - 1410 g.m/cm3s, which can be seen in the vertical cross section of Elastic Impedance.     Javan gibbon is endemic and endangered species in Java Island, because of that this species needs intensive conservation program. Javan Gibbon Center (JGC) has concern for conservation javan gibbon. The former research has identified that male javan gibbon in JGC not quite enough to response breeding behavior whose performed by female. Therefore, the research was conducted to stimulating on mating behaviour of male by using sanrego, as one of an aphrodisiac plant with 300 mg dose. Sanrego was give everyday throuhg oral and combined with food. The monitoring start at 06.30 until 16.30 with direct observation, and journalize the behavior in tally sheet between the javan gibbon couple, in particular the male gibbon. The result was show that sanrego was gived the effect to mating behavior of male gibbon, although not until on significant level

    Arab Spring which was happened in 2011 had ceated nationwide protest movement of the Syrian people to throw the regime of the President Bashar Al Assad. The conflict that was, at first,only protest then turned into armed conflict where the government, opposition and terrorism groups such as ISIS and Jabhat Al Nusra involved. The number of the deaths caused by the conflict were then called by the UN as crime against humanity. The UN initiated Geneve Peace Talks as an agenda to hold a political transition towards Bashar Al Assad's regime. The effort was rejected by Russia Federation. In 2013, the U.S. and its alliance deployed its miltary forces in Syria to suport opposition group while in 2015 Russia then responded to the U.S. action by deploying its military troops in order to support the regime of Bashar Al Assad. This research is aimed to explain the motives of why Russia involved in the Syrian armed conflict. The research used qualitative method and Offensive Realism Theory by John J. Mearsheimer. The result of this research is that the involvement of Russia was meant to exercise its geopolitical influence in the Middle East and to repress the expansion of U.S. influence in Syria

    Selective Cytotoxic Activity of Anredera Cordifolia Leaves Extract Towards Hela Cells

    Cervical cancer is second rank cancer in female cancer incidence all over the world and the strategy therapy against this disease is addressing cancer cells without endanger normal cells. Discovering potentially selective anticancer agent from plants for the treatment of cervical cancer has become a very challenging area of research worldwide. Our previous study Anredera cordifolia, commonly named as binahong in Indonesia, revealed cytotoxic activity on HeLa cervical cancer cells with IC50 75 µg/mL. However, the selectivity of the chemical agent and its molecular target has still remained a question. The current study was aimed at investigating the selectivity of ethanolic extract of A. cordifolia leaf (EAC) on Vero cells and its molecular target on HeLa cells. The extracts were prepared by macerating Anredera cordifolia leaf powder in 70% ethanol. The assessment of the viability of Vero cells was carried out using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay; while the cell cycle analysis of HeLa cells was probed by using flow cytometry. Based on the cell cycle analysis, the molecular target of the extract was investigated by immunocytochemical staining. The present study exhibited the selective cytotoxicity of EAC on HeLa cells compared to Vero cells with a Selectivity Index (SI) of 17.36. It arrested cell cycle on G1/S phase and suppressed Bcl–2 expression, anti-apoptotic protein, which also regulates cell cycle. Therefore, the current piece of work endorses the use of EAC as a promising anticancer agent in the treatment of cervical cancer. EAC may be used as a selective anticancer agent on HeLa cells
