    In this world, many languages from other countries can be used as a communication tool. One of them is English. Students who has qualification must know that learning English is very much needed. Because nobody knows what will happen in the next few years. It could be one factor to obtain a position the next few years is our expertise in speaking English. English is a global language used by people to communicate with other people. On this occasion, researchers conducted research to determine what factors can improve students' ability to speak English. To complete this research, researchers resolve by applying the existing algorithm in data mining, namely C4.5 Algorithm. The result of this research can be concluded that the factors that influence to improve students ability in English are hearing from the environment

    Pengelolaan sampah telah menjadi permasalahan dibanyak negara. Pengelolaan sampah menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi terciptanya lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat. Sampah yang dibiarkan terlalu lama menumpuk dan pengambilan sampah yang tidak teratur menjadi masalah yang sering terjadi. Khususnya di DPRD Kota Pematangsiantar permasalahan sampah kurang menjadi perhatian dikarenakan kesibukan dan tidak terkodirnirnya proses pembuangan sampah. Disamping itu juga proses dalam pengumpulan sampah satu persatu menyebabkan pekerjaan yang tidak efektif dan efesien karena menghabiskan banyak waktu tenaga dan biaya. Oleh karena itu permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana cara membangun kotak sampah pintar berbasis mikrokontroller arduino yang dapat mendeteksi apakah kotak sampah telah penuh atau belum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat perancangan berupa deteksi isi kotak sampah menggunakan sensor ultrasonik, apabila isi kotak sampah mencapai (-+) 80% maka Buzzer akan berbunyi pemberitahuan kotak sampah telah penuh kepada petugas kebersihan yang akan mengumpulkan sampah. Dan data yang dihasilkan dari deteksi kotak sampah tersebut akan disimpan di dalam penyimpanan Sd Card dalam bentuk data log yang kemudian dapat digunakan untuk bahan berbagai penelitian lanjutan, sehingga dengan adanya alat ini, staff bagian kebersihan dapat mengetahui apakah sampah sudah penuh dan sudah siap untuk di buang ke pembuangan

    The C4.5 algorithm is an algorithm for classifying, grouping and predicting. The calculation of the RapidMiner C4.5 algorithm produces the same results according to the decision tree in the case of online learning success. Manual calculations using RapidMiner produce 23 successful online learning rules. Decision trees make it easier to understand the attribute that is prioritized as the most important attribute, root class and leaf class. The C4.5 algorithm as the application of data mining can result in successful online learning decisions during the Covid-19 pandemic. The decision tree in the case of the success of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is said to be successful
