Archo basketball school located in Surabaya, is one tool that can accommodate people of Surabaya in coaching basketball athletes from an early age until later able to become national athletes who excel and be the name of Indonesia in the International basketball world. But unfortunately this is not a basketball school has adequate facilities for teaching and learning activities. Where during this school basketball ARCHO still renting the field to make learning and teaching activities and at the rental places still do not have the facilities - facilities that support for teaching and learning. Therefore, designing a building that has a wide range of facilities that can support teaching and learning in the school basketball is very important because this is not a basketball school has its own building designers use the design architect of the building plans

    Productivity improvement is an essential effort to achieve the optimal utilization of the resoures, particularly in production on the assembly line of soy sauce (soy filling) in PT X. The productivity improvement is based on measuring the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). OEE is a measurement methods of the production machine effectiveness that involves measurement of the availability rate, performance rate, and quality rate.     Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak implementasi metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian generalisasi dari enam penelitian tindakan kelas yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Keenam penelitian tindakan kelas dikumpulkan melalui studi pada jurnal dan google cendekia. Hasil-hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik metaanalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada sekolah dasar efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, keaktifan atau aktifitas siswa, dan keberanian siswa dalam mengemukakan pendapat. Untuk itu disarankan bagi guru untuk memilih metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada penelitian tindakan kelasnya jika hendak mengatasi masalah hasil belajar, keaktifan, dan keberanian siswa

    The Effect of Motorization to the Development of Urban Public Transport

    The aim of this study is to explore the effect of motorization to the development of urban public transportation in urban areas in Indonesian city in the last decade. The study employs many statistical data regarding motorization and urban public transport. It can be concluded that the motorization will continue to grow, and the existing transport policy should be re-questioned. It roots on the lack of acceptable provision of public transport in term of quality and quantity, but also as a result of high preference on using private transport. The challenge becomes excessive and complex, since there is no appropriate visionary road map for development of urban public transport. In answering this problem, the authors propose an abstract of two sequence approach, namely setting priority in taking side in provision of acceptable mobility for all, and followed with the redefinition of urban transport development by implementing transit-oriented development

    Characteristics of Hydroxypropyl Starch of Sorghum Mutant Line ZH-30 and Its Potential Use in Paper Industry

    Sorghum mutant line Zh-30 is a breeding line developed at the Center for the Application of Isotope and Radiation Technology, BATAN by using mutation techniques. Gamma irradiation with the dose of 300 Gy was used to induced plant genetic variability. Through selection processes in several generations, the mutant line Zh-30 was identified to have better agronomic characteristics, better grain quality and higher yield than the original variety. Research on starch quality of this mutant line was done to identify its potential use in a paper industry. Hydroxypropyl starch derivatives of this sorghum lines were prepared by varying alkalinity of the reaction mixtures using propylene oxide to reach Molar of Substitution (MS) of 0–0.180. Its pasting behavior, paste properties and application in wet end paper processing were evaluated. The optimal amount of addition of hydroxypropyl starch was 1-2 %. At this level, drainage time was lower, so that it decreased paper machine speed. At higher level, it did not improve the burst and tensile strengths but tended to decrease the tear strength of handsheets. The properties of lower pasting temperature, higher water holding capacity lower retrogradation susceptibility, increased viscosity and stability of pastes suggested that hydroxypropyl starch of sorghum ZH-30 was suitable for use in wet end paper processing. Comparing to the original starch, the hydroxypropyl starch of sorghum Zh-30 could significantly improve the strength of handsheets

    Vehicle speed has been identified as a key factor in road traffic accidents, which affects the risk of traffic accidents and the severity of the victim. Vehicle speed contributes to accidents when the vehicle speed is higher than the permitted speed limit or higher than that of a certain condition. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between speed and severity of the victim of traffic accident using the Power and Depkimpraswil Models. The results indicate that the Power Model gives a greater influence at speeds higher than 90 km / hour

    However, Public Open Green Space in Semarang City iss only 7.5% the law stipulates that Act every city must have a minimum 20% Open Green Space. This study describe about how the regulation of Open Green Space Planning in Semarang City is, Number 7 Year 2010 about Open Green Space Planning. The purpose of this study is to see how the Implementation of Open Green Space Planning in West Tlogosari is and What are the factors that influence the implementation of open green space of public in Semarang city. This Research is Qualitative Descriptive. Based on the result of the study shows that the implementation of open green space planning in Semarang City consist of planning, utilizing and controling. There are founded the obstacle factor of open green space planning in West Tlogosari, that are not achieving the 20% of Public Green Space, the high price of land, the competence of human resources, uneficient communication interagency, and awarness of society about the needs of public open green space. Semarang Municipal Goverment is suggested to achieve ‘short-term- target of 20% public Open Green Space area, negotiate the price of land with societies, provide training about the implementation of Open Green Space Planning, make the flexible coordination rules, and give information about the Open Green Space to the societies and create an activities to get participation of societies in Implementing of Open Green Space Planning in West Tlogosari, Distric Pedurungan, Semarang City
