The Teaching Metods and Styles of Geography Teachers: a Case (Video) Study

Empirická studie hledá odpověď na otázku, jaké výukové metody se uplatňují ve vyučovacím stylu sledovaných učitelů zeměpisu. Vlastní empirické šetření je navrženo jako kvalitativně-kvantitativní. Snahou je vzájemné srovnání sledovaných učitelů a na základě induktivního přístupu vytvoření přehledu typických přístupů, kterými jsou uspořádány podmínky pro realizaci vzdělávacího obsahu a procesuální stránka vyučovacích hodin. Ukázalo se, že někteří ze sledovaných učitelů bezezbytku přebírají zodpovědnost za realizaci vyučovacího procesu, jiní se snaží podporovat samostatnost a slovní projevy žáků.The empirical study is looking for the answer to the question which teaching methods are of use in the teaching style of Geography teachers. The empirical investigation is designed as qualitative-quantitative. The study aims to compare the observed teachers and, based on inductive approach, to create an outline of typical approaches by which the conditions for the realization of the educational content and the classroom processes are arranged. It seems that some of the observed teachers take total responsibility for the realization of lessons, others are trying to support the students’ independence and verbal skills
