    Building the Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Workforce: What are Employers Looking for?

    A trained workforce is needed to protect operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) within national critical infrastructure and critical industries. However, what knowledge, skills, and credentials are employers looking for in OT cybersecurity professionals? To best train the next generation of OT cybersecurity professionals, an understanding of current OT cybersecurity position requirements is needed. Thus, this work analyzes 100 OT cybersecurity positions to provide insights on key prerequisite requirements such as prior professional experience, education, industry certifications, security clearances, programming expertise, soft verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of OT frameworks, standards, and network communication protocols, and position travel. We found that OT cybersecurity roles are typically non-entry level, as experience was the most common requirement, and was required on 95% of analyzed positions. Possession of a bachelor’s degree or higher was required for 82% of positions, while industry certifications such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or the Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) were listed on 64% of positions. Knowledge of OT or IT frameworks and standards and strong communication skills were listed on 48% of positions, while programming expertise, possession of the United States security clearance, and knowledge of OT or IT networking protocols were required for 18%, 24%, and 27% of positions, respectively. A work travel requirement was listed on 29% of positions. Individuals seeking to enter the OT cybersecurity field, and educational programs focusing on training OT cybersecurity professionals should prioritize obtaining experience, education, and certification, possessing strong communication skills, and knowledge of relevant OT and IT industry standards and frameworks

    Dix-huit composés dont deux nouvelles benzophénanthridines la 8-méthoxy-7,8-dihydrofagaridine 1 et la 8-acétonyl-7,8-dihydrofagaridine 2 ont été isolés des racines de Zanthoxylum psammophilum (Rutaceae). La structure de ces composés (1-18) a été déterminée principalement par l’utilisation de la spectroscopie de RMN 1D (1H et 13C) et 2D (COSY, NOESY, HSQC, HMBC).     Pollution of a Tropical Lagoon by the Determination of Organochlorine Coumpounds

    The lagoon system of Ivory Coast with 1,200 km2 of area is one among the important in West Africa. In the context of national quality water assessment, study of chemicals has been carried out in the central basin and its surroundings. The samples taken in different stations have been extracted with hexane and purified on column of florisil deactivated at 5% at chemical treatment. The analysis by CPG/ECD has permitted to identify the organochlorine compound wastes such as the Lindan, Heptachlor, Dieldrin, Endrin, the metabolites of DDT (PP'DDD and PP'DDE) and PCBs. The PCA method showed the highest stations of contamination located to Abidjan, the main industrial and urban zones (PCB: 15-227 ng/g and DDT + DDD + DDE: 1.7-130 ng/g)

    Fully three-dimensional sound speed-corrected multi-wavelength photoacoustic breast tomography

    Photoacoustic tomography is a contrast agent-free imaging technique capable of visualizing blood vessels and tumor-associated vascularization in breast tissue. While sophisticated breast imaging systems have been recently developed, there is yet much to be gained in imaging depth, image quality and tissue characterization capability before clinical translation is possible. In response, we have developed a hybrid photoacoustic and ultrasound-transmission tomographic system PAM3. The photoacoustic component has for the first time three-dimensional multi-wavelength imaging capability, and implements substantial technical advancements in critical hardware and software sub-systems. The ultrasound component enables for the first time, a three-dimensional sound speed map of the breast to be incorporated in photoacoustic reconstruction to correct for inhomogeneities, enabling accurate target recovery. The results demonstrate the deepest photoacoustic breast imaging to date namely 48 mm, with a more uniform field of view than hitherto, and an isotropic spatial resolution that rivals that of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The in vivo performance achieved, and the diagnostic value of interrogating angiogenesis-driven optical contrast as well as tumor mass sound speed contrast, gives confidence in the system's clinical potential.Comment: 33 pages Main Body, 9 pages Supplementary Materia

    Tecnologia Abordagem Centrada na Pessoa Caracterização da tecnologia Esse parecer propõe avaliar o nível de recomendação da abordagem centrada na pessoa em relação à adesão ao tratamento medicamentoso anti-hipertensivo. Perguntas A abordagem centrada na pessoa promove a adesão ao tratamento medicamentoso anti-hipertensivo? Busca e análise de evidências científicas A busca abrangeu estudos observacionais, experimentais, revisões sistemáticas e metanálises realizados em população de hipertensos adultos sem limite de data. Os termos utilizados para as buscas foram: “hypertension”, “adherence” AND “compliance” e “patient oriented care” AND “patient oriented”. As bases de dados consultadas foram: PubMed, Biblioteca Cochrane, CRD web, EMBASE, NICE, NHMRC, AHRQ e SIGN. Pela natureza da tecnologia avaliada, heterogeneidade das definições e medidas de desfecho, e para melhor análise dos estudos, optou-se por apresentar os resultados de forma descritiva.
