Generalizing the Coleman-Hill Theorem
Following the work of Khare {\it et al}, we show that the generalization to
systems with spontaneous symmetry breaking of the Coleman-Hill theorem to
one-loop order, can be extended to the case including fermions with the most
general interactions. Although the correction to the parity-odd part of the
vacuum polarization looks complicated in the Higgs phase, it turns out that the
correction to the Chern-Simons term is identical to that in the symmetric
phase, with the difference coming only from the contribution of the would be
Chern-Simons term. We also discuss the implication of our result to nonabelian
systems.Comment: 11 pages, uses phyzzx. Abstract and conclusion modified, new

Self-Dual Chern-Simons Higgs Systems with an N=3 Extended Supersymmetry
We construct and study an N=3 supersymmetric Chern-Simons Higgs theory. This
theory is the maximally supersymmetric one containing the self-dual models with
a single gauge field and no gravity.Comment: 22 pages, phyzzx, CU-TP-56
Quasinormal Modes of Kerr Black Holes in Four and Higher Dimensions
We analytically calculate to leading order the asymptotic form of quasinormal
frequencies of Kerr black holes in four, five and seven dimensions. All the
relevant quantities can be explicitly expressed in terms of elliptical
integrals. In four dimensions, we confirm the results obtained by Keshest and
Hod by comparing the analytic results to the numerical ones.Comment: 14 pages, 7 figure
