Aiming at how to realize the recognition of the container number on the container surface at the entrance and exit of the port, a method based on image affine transformation and SVM classifier is proposed. The main process includes truck target detection, box number area detection, text correction stage, image preprocessing stage and segmentation detection and recognition stage. Firstly, a kind of container truck detection program based on frame difference method and decreasing sequence of connected domain is proposed; secondly, a method of container number area detection based on SSD_MobileNet is proposed; in the case number recognition stage, a text correction method based on image affine transformation is proposed, and different processing methods are proposed for vertical sequence box number and horizontal sequence box number in image preprocessing stage In the stage of segmentation detection and recognition, a character segmentation algorithm based on connected domain segmentation and a segmentation detection and recognition algorithm based on SVM classifier are proposed. Through the detection and recognition of container images in the field monitoring video, the accuracy rate of regional detection can reach 97%, and the accuracy rate of character recognition can reach 95%, and it can achieve good real-time performance

Existence and asymptotic behavior of least energy sign-changing solutions for Schrodinger-Poisson systems with doubly critical exponents

    In this paper, we are concerned with the following Schr\"{o}dinger-Poisson system with critical nonlinearity and critical nonlocal term due to the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality \begin{equation}\begin{cases} -\Delta u+u+\lambda\phi |u|^3u =|u|^4u+ |u|^{q-2}u,\ \ &\ x \in \mathbb{R}^{3},\\[2mm] -\Delta \phi=|u|^5, \ \ &\ x \in \mathbb{R}^{3}, \end{cases} \end{equation} where λ∈R\lambda\in \mathbb{R} is a parameter and q∈(2,6)q\in(2,6). If λ≄(q+28)2\lambda\ge (\frac{q+2}{8})^2 and q∈(2,6)q\in(2,6), the above system has no nontrivial solution. If λ∈(λ∗,0)\lambda\in (\lambda^*,0) for some λ∗<0\lambda^*<0, we obtain a least energy radial sign-changing solution uλu_\lambda to the above system. Furthermore, we consider λ\lambda as a parameter and analyze the asymptotic behavior of uλu_\lambda as λ→0−\lambda\to 0^-

Intra-abdominal abscess caused by toothpick injury

SummaryWe present the case of a 42-year-old female who presented to our emergency department (ED) complaining of epigastric pain for four days. She had been seen in the outpatient department and ED previously for evaluation, but continued to experience epigastric pain with fever. Emergency panendoscopy was performed and a toothpick was discovered impacted in the duodenal bulb. The gastroenterologist was unable to remove the toothpick endoscopically. Computed tomography of the abdomen revealed a long and straight hyperdense foreign body, and intra-abdominal abscess formation. An emergency laparotomy was performed. The patient recovered gradually and was discharged 11 days later. She could not remember when she swallowed the wooden toothpick, but guessed that it was while out drinking. There is an old wives’ tale in Taiwan that putting a toothpick in the cup while drinking beer reduces the likelihood of abdominal distention from the carbonation of the beer

The development of technology has ignited many innovations in business management, especially in the electronic commerce area. The essential example, that is, online stores and online shopping, is a critical evolution and innovation from traditional brick-and-mortar stores to clicks and mortar. Following previous research (Van Oorschot et al.), this present study adopted bibliometric and keyword analysis to review the main characteristics of electronic commerce innovations. Focused on the academic sources, the research data used in this study were searched for and collected from the Web of Science (WoS), a renowned academic database which covers the most influential research journals in electronic commerce. Based on a combination of several keywords related to “innovation” and “electronic commerce,” the keyword search in the WoS was conducted in May 2019. As a result, a total of 334 research articles related to electronic commerce innovations were collected. Derived from the bibliometric analysis, some keywords that were seldom used in the earlier decade (2000-2009), but which rapidly grew in use in the recent decade (2010-2018) were found, including m-commerce, platforms, social commerce, online review, and co-creation. In addition, the top 10 influential articles listed in each of the two decades were identified. The results show some of the research trajectories in EC innovations. In the first decade (2000-2009), the top 10 papers focused on traditional IT adoption, such as self-service technology, enterprise resource planning systems, and the adoption of general attitude-intention theories such as the technology acceptance model. In the recent decade (2010-2018), researchers have shown more diverse interest in innovative EC applications, such as RFID applications, cloud computing, crowdsourcing, etc. Accompanying these EC innovation contexts, in addition to general attitude-intention theories, more theories such as signaling theory, have been adopted

We investigate the correlation of golf putting club head velocity and grip force in different phases during the putting stroke. Five elite college players (handicap: 2~8) executed a putt as accurately as possible to reach a target distance of 12ft. The Novel System and were used to measure the grip force and club head velocity. The lowest club head velocity and grip force both occurred at address up to the top of backswing (phase I). The club head velocity and grip force started increasing during the downswing and reached its peak before impact (phase II), and decreased after impact to finish (phase III). The mean club head velocity and grip force for Phase I, II, III in order are 0.33m/s, 0.92m/s, 0.87m/s; 28.09N, 54.77N, 50.76N. Club head velocity was significantly correlated to grip force in phase II and III (r=0.937; r=0.866). The similar variation pattern of club head speed and grip force may give better control to the putter during the impact and produce more consistent putting stroke

Background/PurposeA tourniquet is commonly used in limb surgery. Tourniquet inflation after a period of time may produce painful sensation. While the mechanisms of tourniquet-induced pain are still unknown, two components, pressure and ischemia, have been proposed. In this study, in vivo microdialysis was used to detect changes in intrathecal glutamate, an excitatory amino acid highly relevant to pain transmission, following hindlimb tourniquet application and femoral artery occlusion in the rat.MethodsMale Wistar rats were used. For the tourniquet study, 6 rats of the study group received 30 minutes right hindlimb tourniquet inflation and another 6 rats as the control group received only tourniquet application without inflation. In the femoral artery occlusion study, 6 rats of the study group received 30 minutes right femoral artery occlusion and another 6 rats as the control group received only sham operation without femoral artery occlusion. Cerebrospinal fluid dialysates were collected prior to, during, and after tourniquet application or femoral artery occlusion. Glutamate was measured by HPLC.ResultsA significant increase in intrathecal glutamate release was found during the tourniquet inflation period, and it returned to baseline after tourniquet deflation. No change of glutamate release was noted during femoral artery occlusion or after femoral artery reperfusion.ConclusionThe intrathecal glutamate release was increased by the hindlimb tourniquet inflation, but not influenced by femoral artery occlusion in the rat

Abstract

Background

Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer death for women all over the world and mammography is thought of as one of the main tools for early detection of breast cancer. In order to detect the breast cancer, computer aided technology has been introduced. In computer aided cancer detection, the detection and segmentation of mass are very important. The shape of mass can be used as one of the factors to determine whether the mass is malignant or benign. However, many of the current methods are semi-automatic. In this paper, we investigate fully automatic segmentation method.

Results

In this paper, a new mass segmentation algorithm is proposed. In the proposed algorithm, a fully automatic marker-controlled watershed transform is proposed to segment the mass region roughly, and then a level set is used to refine the segmentation. For over-segmentation caused by watershed, we also investigated different noise reduction technologies. Images from DDSM were used in the experiments and the results show that the new algorithm can improve the accuracy of mass segmentation.

Conclusions

The new algorithm combines the advantages of both methods. The combination of the watershed based segmentation and level set method can improve the efficiency of the segmentation. Besides, the introduction of noise reduction technologies can reduce over-segmentation.</p
