    The aim to determine the effect of product Quality of Service on customer satisfaction at PT. Totogasono Sekawan Samarinda. Companies in running their business must apply Quality of Services, where Quality of service is one type of competitive advantage that can be owned by the company. Because of the suspected application of Service Quality is very influential on customer satisfaction of a company. This research was conducted by conducting research on Quality of service policy at PT. Totogasono Sekawan Samarinda. The method used is simple regression method and correlation coefficient and t test to see the influence and relationship of Quality of Service to customer satisfaction. The results showed that Quality Service has a strong relationship to customer satisfaction in PT. Totogasono Sekawan Samarinda. This is evidenced from the results obtained in testing the hypothesis where the value of t count = 6,251> from ttable = 2,021 at = 0.05 or 5% and the correlation coefficient of 0,710 and the value of coefficient of determination = 86.3%, then the regression equation simple obtained is y = 0,600 sampai dengan 0,800 x. It means that every decrease of product differentiation as 1% in PT. Totogasono Sekawan Samarinda will increase consumer satisfaction equal to 0,800%. It was concluded that the key to success of PT. Totogasono Sekawan Samarinda in reaching and serving the market should apply the concept of product differentiation that can increase customer satisfaction and continue to be a successful company and can win the competition

    Committed to bring regional autonomy policy to a more meaningful existence, KPPOD (Regional Autonomy Watch) again comes up with result of another rating. This time, statistical aspects and dynamic aspects were combined to better rate autonomous regions and capture their real dynamics. Our focuses remain two: policy variables and endowment variables. Policy variables are grouped into two factors, namely institutional factor and sociopolitical factor; endowment variables into three: regional economy, labor and productivity, and physical infrastructure. For the whole, 42 indicators were employed here, each with its value different from others from the perception of business community. The research includes 134 regions, consisting of 97 regencies and 37 cities spread in 26 provinces in Indonesia. Data used in the analysis of indicators were primary and secondary, qualitative and quantitative. Valuation of variables and processing of data were done using AHP (The Analytic Hierarchy Process) method

    KPPOD (Komite Pemantauan Pelaksanaan Otonomi Daerah/Regional Autonomy Watch), which is existing all along with the age of otda, is seeking to realize its vision of partaking in the creation of conducive business climate in the era of autonomy through various activities. As one of its annual activity, KPPOD conducted a “Rating on Investment Attractiveness of Regencies/Cities for Year 2004” covering 161 Regencies and 53 Cities in Indonesia. The study is the fourth rating; the first was in 2001 covering 90 Regencies/Cities, the second was in 2002 with 134 Regencies/Cities, while the third was in 2003 with 200 Regencies/Cities. Apart from being a reference for business players in weighing investment decision, said activity is intended to induce healthy competition among autonomous regions in facilitating economic activities. Likewise, the activity is expected to become one of the means to assist principal parties to evaluate the otda, the program that is on-going and will continue to go on

    KPPOD (Komite Pemantauan Pelaksanaan Otonomi Daerah) yang hadir sepanjang usia otda tersebut, berusaha mewujudkan visinya untuk ikut serta menciptakan iklim usaha yang kondusif di era otonomi ini melalui berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukannya. Dalam salah satu kegiatan tahunannya, KPPOD mengadakan penelitian mengenai “Pemeringkatan Daya Tarik Investasi Kabupaten/Kota Tahun 2004” yang meliputi 161 Kabupaten dan 53 Kota di Indonesia. Kegiatan tersebut merupakan pemeringkatan keempat, setelah sebelumnya melaksanakannya di 90 Kabupaten/Kota di tahun 2001, 134 Kabupaten/ Kota di tahun 2002, san 200 Kabupaten/Kota di tahun 2003. Selain untuk referensi para pelaku usaha dalam mempertimbangkan keputusan investasinya, kegiatan tersebut juga dimaksudkan untuk mendorong kompetisi yang sehat antar daerahdaerah otonom dalam memfasilitasi aktivitas perekonomian. Antusiasme kalangan dunia usaha untuk mempelajari hasil penelitian tersebut di tahun tahun sebelumnya dan beragam tanggapan dari daerah-daerah otonom, serta liputan media yang luas semakin mendorong KPPOD untuk melakukan kegiatan tersebut secara reguler. Dari kegiatan itu diharapkan menjadi salah satu alat bantu bagi pihak pihak yang berkepentingan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan otda yang sedang dan akan terus berlangsung
