Synthesis of Chiral Tritylpyrrolidine Derivatives and Their Application to Asymmetric Benzoyloxylation

An efficient synthesis of novel chiral tritylpyrrolidine derivatives has been developed. Single stereoisomers of various tritylpyrrolidine derivatives can be readily obtained through diastereomer separation by simple silica gel column chromatography.
