Độ mở thương mại, phát triển tài chính và tăng trưởng kinh tế - Nghiên cứu trường hợp tại Đông Nam Á và Đông Á

Mục đích của nghiên cứu nhằm đánh giá tác động của độ mở thương mại và phát triển tài chính lên tăng trưởng kinh tế. Nghiên cứu sử dụng dữ liệu tại 6 quốc gia điển hình tại Đông Nam Á (Việt Nam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thái Lan, Singapore và Philippines) và 3 quốc gia điển hình tại Đông Á (Trung Quốc, Hàn Quốc và Nhật Bản). Dữ liệu được phân tích thông qua phương pháp bình phương tối thiểu khả thi tổng quát cùng phương pháp sai số chuẩn hiệu chỉnh dữ liệu bảng. Kết quả nghiên cứu khẳng định rằng không tồn tại mối quan hệ rõ ràng của độ mở thương mại và tăng trưởng kinh tế, nhưng phát triển tài chính có tác động tích cực lên tăng trưởng. Nghiên cứu cũng tìm thấy tác động tích cực của vốn đầu tư trực tiếp nước ngoài ròng và phát triển du lịch lên tăng trưởng kinh tế, và tác động tiêu cực của tỷ lệ đô thị hóa lên tăng trưởng. Cuối cùng, nghiên cứu cũng cho rằng tăng trưởng kinh tế tại các nước Đông Á đang tốt hơn Đông Nam Á

Tổng hợp một số dẫn xuất của Lupeol và nghiên cứu hoạt tính kháng vi sinh vật kiểm định

The lupane triterpenoid lupeol is found in a variety of plants. Its biological activities have attracted a great deal of interests. A number of studies on the antiinflammatory, antimycobacterial, antimalarial and anticancer activities of this compound and its derivatives have been reported. Based on our knowledge, there have not been any reports on the antimicrobial activity of lupeol and its derivatives. In order to investigate the relationship between the chemical structure and  antimicrobial activities, several derivatives of lupeol, such as lupeol acetate, lupeol isobutyrate, lupeol benzoate and lupeol cinnamate were synthesized, and the antibacterial and antifungal effects of these derivatives were examined. It was found  that these  derivatives possessed only weak antimicrobial activities, and that the above acylation of the OH group at C-3 did not lead to  an improvement of the  antibacterial and anti-fungal activities
