    Observing the temperature dependent transition of the GP2 peptide using terahertz spectroscopy

    The GP2 peptide is derived from the Human Epidermal growth factor Receptor 2 (HER2/nue), a marker protein for breast cancer present in saliva. In this paper we study the temperature dependent behavior of hydrated GP2 at terahertz frequencies and find that the peptide undergoes a dynamic transition between 200 and 220 K. By fitting suitable molecular models to the frequency response we determine the molecular processes involved above and below the transition temperature (TD). In particular, we show that below TD the dynamic transition is dominated by a simple harmonic vibration with a slow and temperature dependent relaxation time constant and that above TD, the dynamic behavior is governed by two oscillators, one of which has a fast and temperature independent relaxation time constant and the other of which is a heavily damped oscillator with a slow and temperature dependent time constant. Furthermore a red shifting of the characteristic frequency of the damped oscillator was observed, confirming the presence of a non-harmonic vibration potential.     Influence of emotional labor on organizational commitment in government logistics personnel: The mediating effect of job burnout and the moderating effect of perceived organizational support.

    The study aimed to explore the influence of emotional labor on organizational commitment, we also investigated the mediating effect of job burnout and the moderating effect of perceived organizational support, 234 employees of government logistics participated our research. The results showed that: The surface behaviors of emotional labor had no effect on job burnout. Deep behaviors had a negative effect on job burnout. The surface behaviors of emotional labor had no effect on organizational commitment. Deep behaviors had a positive effect on organizational commitment. Job burnout had a negative effect on organizational commitment. Job burnout mediated the interaction of emotional labor and organizational commitment partially. Perceived organizational support does not significantly moderate the interaction of job burnout on organizational commitment.</p

    The factors affecting restaurant customers return intention after online group buying promotion

    &nbsp; With the expansion of online group buying, this new promotion model is used by more and more restaurants. However, it is difficult for restaurant owners to make profit from one time online group buying promotion; they are expecting that customers brought by online group buying could return and become their long-term customers. This study adopts both correlation analysis and structural equation modeling to analyze the factors affecting restaurant customers&#39; return intention after online group buying promotion and finds that perceived quality, perceived value and customer satisfaction would greatly affect customers&#39; return intention. Perceived value and customer satisfaction are also mediating variables in our study model. This study also finds that the deeper discount restaurants offer, the less likely the customer would return to consume at the original price without discount.</p

    Work Value and Motivation Mediate the Influence of Personality on Contextual Performance

    From the perspective of personality framework, the mediating effects of personality dynamic variables (values and motivation) on the relationship between personality traits and contextual performance were tested in 291 employees in different foreign enterprises in China through questionnaires. The results show that 1) competence and growth values mediate the effect of Big Five on contextual performance; 2) status and independence values (indirectly through intrinsic motivation) mediate between openness, conscientiousness and contextual performance; 3) intrinsic motivation mediates between competence and growth values, status and independence values, and contextual performance.</p

    Influence of Coworker Turnover on Stayer Turnover Intention in the Internet Industry: The Mechanism of Job Satisfaction and Self-perceived Employability

    Based on the unfolding model of voluntary employee turnover, this paper has investigated the influence of coworker turnover (CT) on stayer turnover intention (TI), the mediating effect of job satisfaction (JS) and the moderating effect of Self perceived Employability (SPE) for stayer. Data has been collected from 259 employees came from 21 regions. By using hierarchical regression and bootstrapping, it was found that SPE moderated the effect of stayer&#39;s job embeddedness (SJE) on JS. When Self-perceived internal employability (SPIE) is higher, the positive effect between SJE and JS become stronger. When Self-perceived external employability (SPEE) is higher, the positive effect between SJE and JS become weaker. Moreover, it was proved that JS has mediating effect between stayer perceived similarity (SPS) and SJE.</p

    The Feeling-of-knowing and Feeling-of-not-knowing Judgment under Different Levels of Processing and Memory Materials

    Previous research implicated that feeling-of-knowing (FOK) and feeling-of-not-knowing (FOnK) might be two different cognitive processes. Based on this hypothesis, an experiment was conducted by examining FOK and FOnK judgment under different levels of processing and different kinds of materials. The results showed that processing depth had positive effects on FOK judgment, but little effects on FOnK judgment, conversely, it even decreased the accuracy of FOnK judgment, which demonstrated that FOK judgment and FOnK judgment were two different cognitional processes. Implications and limitations are discussed.</p

    The Influence Factors on Channel Selection: A Study on Online Shopping for Infant Milk Powders

    This paper studied the key factors influencing consumer purchase decision on infant milk powders under the context of e-commerce. In recent years there have been several scandals exposed about Chinese milk powders, causing major concerns among consumers and scholars. Meanwhile, e-commerce is fast developing in China, this study is aimed to understand what are the key factors influencing the consumer purchase intention in e-commerce and the correlations between the key variables. We first interviewed 30 parents (having kids 0-3 years old) and found that the following factors influence consumer purchase decisions: familiarity, trust and satisfaction. We then tested the relations among these factors with purchase intention with questionnaires. The study extended the theoretical framework on Trust, trust tendency, satisfaction, familiarity and their effects on Purchase intention, and also provided some guidance to the business managers on effectively communication in e-commerce to promote business.</p
