Bosonic Super Liouville System: Lax Pair and Solution

    Get PDF
We study the bosonic super Liouville system which is a statistical transmutation of super Liouville system. Lax pair for the bosonic super Liouville system is constructed using prolongation method, ensuring the Lax integrability, and the solution to the equations of motion is also considered via Leznov-Saveliev analysis.Comment: LaTeX, no figures, 11 page

Seed germination of three dominant Artemisia species in loess hilly region: alternating temperature, osmotic potential, and light effects

Non-Peer ReviewedIn this study, we evaluated the effects of alternating temperature, osmotic potential and light in the achene germination of three dominant Artemisia species (A. scoparia, A. gmelinii Web. and A. giraldii Pamp.) on arable old land after being abandoned in loess hilly region of Northern Shaanxi, in order to provide information about germination requirements which could be use for conservation studies. Results showed that A. scoparia had wider alternating temperature extremes than two other species and A. giraldii Pamp. and A. gmelinii Web. had lower optimum alternating temperature (25 oC/20 oC) than A. scoparia (30 oC/25 oC). Osmotic potential affected germination of all species significantly, but A. scoparia had better germination results than others in every treatment. In light treatments, although A. giraldii Pamp. and A. gmelinii Web. had lower germination proportion in white light, they had bigger germination proportion in darkness than A. scoparia

    On the Classical W4(2)W_{4}^{(2)} Algebra

We consider the classical \w42 algebra from the integrable system viewpoint. The integrable evolution equations associated with the \w42 algebra are constructed and the Miura maps , consequently modifications, are presented. Modifying the Miura maps, we give a free field realization the classical \w42 algebra. We also construct the Toda type integrable systems for it.Comment: 14 pages, latex, no figure

On determination of the geometric cosmological constant from the OPERA experiment of superluminal neutrinos

The recent OPERA experiment of superluminal neutrinos has deep consequences in cosmology. In cosmology a fundamental constant is the cosmological constant. From observations one can estimate the effective cosmological constant Λeff\Lambda_{eff} which is the sum of the quantum zero point energy Λdarkenergy\Lambda_{dark energy} and the geometric cosmological constant Λ\Lambda. The OPERA experiment can be applied to determine the geometric cosmological constant Λ\Lambda. It is the first time to distinguish the contributions of Λ\Lambda and Λdarkenergy\Lambda_{dark energy} from each other by experiment. The determination is based on an explanation of the OPERA experiment in the framework of Special Relativity with de Sitter space-time symmetry.Comment: 7 pages, no figure

Spin-Hall effect on edge magnetization and electric conductance of a 2D semiconductor strip

The intrinsic spin-Hall effect on spin accumulation and electric conductance in a diffusive regime of a 2D electron gas has been studied for a 2D strip of a finite width. It is shown that the spin polarization near the flanks of the strip, as well as the electric current in the longitudinal direction exhibit damped oscillations as a function of the width and strength of the Dresselhaus spin-orbit interaction. Cubic terms of this interaction are crucial for spin accumulation near the edges. As expected, no effect on the spin accumulation and electric conductance have been found in case of Rashba spin-orbit interaction.Comment: 4 pages, 1 figure, some changes in the tex

A Hybrid Quantum Encoding Algorithm of Vector Quantization for Image Compression

Many classical encoding algorithms of Vector Quantization (VQ) of image compression that can obtain global optimal solution have computational complexity O(N). A pure quantum VQ encoding algorithm with probability of success near 100% has been proposed, that performs operations 45sqrt(N) times approximately. In this paper, a hybrid quantum VQ encoding algorithm between classical method and quantum algorithm is presented. The number of its operations is less than sqrt(N) for most images, and it is more efficient than the pure quantum algorithm.
