Multicomponent synthesis of highly functionalized piperidines using sulfamic acid as a heterogeneous and cost effective catalyst

    No full text
545-550Sulfamic acid has been found as an efficient and cost effective catalyst for one pot multicomponent synthesis of some new densely functionalized piperidine derivatives using amines, aldehydes and β-keto esters. The meritorious aspects of this novel protocol are atom economic process, heterogeneous and easily accessible catalyst, good to excellent yield, convenient work up and eco-friendly route

One pot four component sequential synthesis of hexahydroquinoline derivatives in aqueous media via enaminone intermediates: A green protocol

AbstractA convenient green chemistry method through one pot four component tandem synthesis of hexahydroquinoline via enaminone intermediate using dimedone, ammonium acetate, aryl aldehydes and malononitrile has been described in aqueous media without the use of any external catalyst. The excess of ammonium acetate used acts as a reagent as well as catalyst. The incorporation of water as solvent along with eradication of external catalyst renders the protocol to comply with the green chemistry aspects. Shorter reaction time, high atom economy, easy work up and purification of products by non-chromatographic method are the crucial features of this methodology. The crystal structure of hexahydroquinoline basically shaped by chromatographic free selective reaction was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis

In this current scenario the Internet has been the most reliable source for every age group. But since humans can take any form to achieve their target which sometimes can be negative such as ruining the lives and reputation of others for revenge, jealousy, and hatred, they have also started in Internet which is Cyberbullying and due to Covid-19, the compulsory quarantine and isolation has made half of the citizens unproductive. Thus, spending a day without going outside has been a difficult task therefore the only thing they can do is using the Internet. Speaking of education, the massive transformation from offline to online has changed the scene of learning. Hence, this paper tries to find out the impact of cyber bullying on the students at Lovely Professional University andmainly focus on the psychological impacts the victim faces in nine dimensions/symptoms which are Somatization, Obsessive Compulsion, Interpersonal Sensitivity, Depression, Anxiety, Hostility, Phobic anxiety, Paranoid and Psychoticism and it was conducted on the students studying at Lovely Professional University, Punjab. Different attributes like legal laws werealso included while conducting the survey.&nbsp

An efficient synthesis of pyranopyrimidine derivatives by using glyoxylic acid:L-proline deep eutectic solvent as a novel designer reaction promoter

339-349As part of green chemistry, we have designed a novel deep eutectic solvent (DES) by using glyoxylic acid: L-proline (1:1) and efficiency of novel DES has been studied for the synthesis of pyrimidine core derivatives via multicomponent reaction. It is an efficient solvent/catalyst to develop a series of 7-amino-2,4-dioxo-5-aryl-1,3,4,5-tetrahydro-2H-pyrano[2,3- d]pyrimidine-6-carbonitrile derivatives. The pyranopyrimidine derivatives have been synthesized through a one-pot three component reaction of barbutric acid/thiobarbutric acid, aryl aldehydes and malononitrile through Knoevenagel condensation followed by Michael addition and subsequent cyclization. The thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry have been used to identify thermal stability and working temperature range of novel DES. The reusability of the glyoxylic acid:L-proline (1:1) has been tested and the results revealed that the recovered catalyst can be reused at least four additional times in subsequent reactions without significant decrease in product yield. The use of solvent glyoxylic acid: L-proline (1:1) DES to yield vital pyrimidine molecules provide this protocol to cope with the current need for efficient, cost-effective, cleaner reaction profiles, effortless work phase with high yield of product, and with short reaction time and eco-friendly methodology. IR, 1H NMR and MS and alternative methods, whenever available, have verified the chemical structures of the targeted compounds

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C25H31NO4, contains two independent molecules. In one molecule, the benzene ring and an attached methoxy group were refined as disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.65 (4): 0.35 (4) ratio. In both molecules, the central ring of the acridinedione system adopts a flattened boat conformation. The four essentially planar atoms of this ring [maximum deviations = 0.006 (5) Å in both molecules] forms dihedral angles of 86.8 (2) and 87.6 (2)°, respectively, with the major and minor components in the disordered benzene ring and 87.3 (2)° with the benzene ring in the fully ordered molecule. The two outer rings of the acridinedione system adopt sofa conformations in both molecules. In the crystal, N—H...O hydrogen bonds form two independent chains along [100]. C—H...O hydrogen bonds link the chains, forming a three-dimensional network
