    Exploring Plagiarism Behavior in Higher Education

    This study aims to explore plagiarism behavior in higher education. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study design using the reflective notes technique to collect data from the participants. The data were collected through online submission. The authors, at this moment, employed a qualitative method by assigning the participants to write reflective notes to obtain the true responses to various questions. The approach used in this study is a case study approach to understand the object studied. Ten students of Universitas Negeri Makassar were invited to participate in this study, but only six met the valid reflective notes. The study found that students have different views on plagiarism behavior. Some problems highlighted in this study related to plagiarism behavior, such as lack of training in proper writing techniques, academic dishonesty, lack of access to library resources, lack of admiration for fellow writers, and little or no consequence for plagiarism cases.     Participation and Neutrality of State Civil Apparatus in Direct Regional Election: Surabaya City Case

    In relation to the existence of State Civil Apparatus, at least there are two issues that must be observed in the implementation of Regional elections, namely the issues of participation and neutrality of State Civil Apparatus. The phenomenon that occurs during this time is the involvement of the State Civil Apparatus in attendance is still minimum (low). Moreover, it is believed that there are many Civil Apparatus State who is not neutral in the organization of Regional Elections. In this regard, this study aims to analyze the participation and neutrality of State Civil Apparatus. The method utilized in this study is qualitative. The result of the study shows that in general the participation of State Civil Apparatus in Surabaya is adequately good, but the neutrality of State Civil Apparatus has not implemented well enough. There are at least three (3) main factors influencing the participation of Civil State Apparatus, namely the factors of leadership exemplary, commitment to employees, and employee development. As for the neutrality of the State Civil Apparatus, among others, is influenced by the factors of the ambition of employee, primordialism, and working environment of employees

    Urgency Surveillance Study of Social Organization aims to describe the reality of the problems in the a real of Social Organization; describe the implementation of the role of government (including local government) in controlling the Social Organization; and provider recommendations on matters that need to be regulated in the draft regulations on the supervision of organizations. This study used a qualitative approach, with the aim that can be obtained in-depth and complete information about matters relating to the existence and dynamics in regional organizations. The study results presented can be: that on the one hand the existence of organizations that do not contribute little in development, but on the other hand there are many community organizations that act an archaic and disturbing in society; for the entire operational provisions for the implementation of Social Organization must be available; things that need to be arranged substantially in the surveillance by the government

    Policy Design for Extreme Poverty Alleviation in West Lombok Regency

    This study aims to analyze the design of extreme poverty reduction policies in West Lombok District. The design of the policy refers to the substance/content of the policies developed for the reduction/prevention of extreme poverty used by the regions. A case study research approach is used to explore the design of extreme poverty alleviation policies. The West Lombok Regency government's policy on poverty alleviation contains various local government programs synergized in accelerating the acceleration of extreme poverty reduction. In addition, it is in the form of efforts to assist the poor for a movement that is actualized in bridging aid recipients to get out of poverty immediately. The construction of extreme poverty reduction policies in West Lombok Regency adopts the concept of an innovation hub to accelerate cross-government programs that target basic services (health and education) in interventions for individual/family change as well as increasing the business capacity of community groups
