Implicações da implementação da telepediatria no estado do Pará nos anos de 2016 a 2019

Introduction: Telehealth has been operating in the state of Pará since 2016 with the aim of supporting Primary Health Care and increasing access and solvability of the Unified Health System in the state, given that Pará is the second largest state in Brazil. Aim: To evaluate the impact of telepediatric care in the state of Pará, considering the main requests for specialties and the solvability of Telehealth in the evaluated period. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional, observational and descriptive study, carried out through the evaluation of teleconsultations available on the Telehealth Platform website. With access to the platform data, the keywords “Newborn”, “Infant”, “Toddler”, “Preschool” “School age”, “Child” and “Adolescence” were searched in order to filter the teleconsultations that addressed the topic of study. After the selection of 186 teleconsultations, the main doubts and the resoluteness in the period were analyzed to analyze the impact that telemedicine had in the evaluated period. The information was expressed as numerical and percentual data. Results: Stratification was performed based on doubts expressed through 186 filtered teleconsultations. The largest number of demands were for neurologists, pediatricians and dermatologists. There were 94% of platform solvability, indicating good effectiveness of Telehealth in Pará. Discussion: Telemedicine in this context helps doctors to reach diagnoses more easily, without referring the patient from the city where he/she lives to reference center facilities and helping in the management of patients who usually, due to social and geographic issues, find barriers to accessing higher levels of complexity in the Unified System of Health. Conclusion: Telemedicine promotes support to health care system offering specialized treatment even in remote regions in the state of Pará, furthermore telemedicine provides counseling and guidance for doctors and care for patients as a way to alleviate problems in accessing health services.Introdução: A Telessaúde atua no estado do Pará desde 2016 com o objetivo de auxiliar a Atenção Primária em Saúde a aumentar o acesso e resolubilidade do Sistema Único de Saúde no estado, tendo em vista que o Pará é o segundo maior estado em território do Brasil. Objetivo: Avaliar o impacto da telepediatria no estado do Pará, considerando as principais solicitações de especialidades e a resolubilidade da Telessaúde no período avaliado. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, observacional e descritivo, realizado por meio da avaliação de teleconsultorias disponíveis no site da Plataforma Telessaúde. Com acesso aos dados da plataforma, pesquisaram-se as palavras-chave “Recém Nascido”, “Pré Escolar”, “Escolar” e “Criança” com fins de filtrar as teleconsultorias que abordavam o tema de estudo. Após a seleção de 186 teleconsultorias, foram analisadas as principais dúvidas e a resolutividade no período para analisar o impacto que a telemedicina possuiu no período avaliado. As informações foram expressas por meio de dados numéricos e porcentuais. Resultados: Foi realizada a estratificação a partir de dúvidas expressas por meio das 186 teleconsultorias filtradas. Foi verificado que a principal demanda foi para profissionais neurologistas, pediatras e dermatologistas. Ainda se verificou alta resolutividade de 94%, indicando boa efetividade da Telessaúde no Pará. Discussão: A telemedicina, neste contexto, auxilia médicos generalistas a alcançar diagnósticos mais acurados, sem deslocar o paciente da cidade onde reside, viabilizando assim o manejo de pacientes suscetíveis a questões sociais e geográficas e, consequentemente, compensando os entraves ao acesso a maiores níveis de complexidade no Sistema Único de Saúde. Conclusão: A telemedicina auxilia na obtenção de tratamento especializado mesmo em regiões longínquas no estado do Pará, portanto a telemedicina possui funcionalidade de aconselhamento, orientação e atendimento como forma de amenizar os problemas de acesso a serviços de saúde
